being a christian, it makes me laugh when dumb scientists say that things happened "100, million years ago". the earth is not THAT OLD. we dont even know how old it is, but it certainly isnt THAT old.
Well to find the age of something that had been living, like a tree, you can use Crabom-14 dating which sets a period of time something lived. Therefore, scientitsts are able to date skeletons etc as they all have Carbon in them.
Now, your write in saying that it is a guess.....but then isnt everything in life? The Bible may just be a book written by someone who is real.......the planet may not be made of molten rock etc..........the sun isnt so and so big. But, scientists guesses must be pretty accurate, as if you think about it, back in the Greek times when all those math people came up with trigonometry and stuff like that, it worked, and it still works and that was thousands of years ago. So, the stuff scientist make know muct be pretty accurate: Scientific evidence indicates that the planet formed around 4.57 billion (4.57×109) years ago, and shortly thereafter (4.533 billion years ago) acquired its single natural satellite, the Moon.
This means that the Earth is deffinatly over 100 million years old! 🙂
So what time period did they live in?
Well if their LOTR Hobbits over 6000 years ago 😄 😛 lol!
