It's nice of you to tell us this, you lunatic. Next time, howzabout adding the trailer, huh? Or would you rather we close our eyes and use the unlimited power of our imagination and picture the new Rocky movie, huh?

i wonder if they'll make Rocky 7 and name it Adrian's Revenge, the simpsons set it up so nicely for them it'd be a shame to waste it

Spoiler:
adrianne is dead at the start of 6

is Rocky 6 really necessary

No.But then again neither were 4 or 5. 😄 It should have ended as a trilogy. 😠

it should have.

I think it's great that one of the best action stars in movie history has gotten himself in better shape than 98% of the people in this country and that he is returning to the big screen with 1 last hurrah.Im looking forward to seeing Rambo4 and Rocky Balboa, there isnt an action star alive today that can replace Stallone, its all highwire way over the top action movies now.

Who cares if hes 60 and these movies are just more sequels, try appreciating that stallone a 60 year old man busted his balls to get into that kind of shape to give his fans 1 last run at Stallone in action.

Why bash you should appreciate this.Nobody bashes Clint Easwood or Harrison Ford and they are both older then Stallone

I'll give'em this, he has a six pack after recently turning sixty when most of us here are probably one third of his age yet some if not most are nowhere near his physical shape.

I wouldn't say is in better shape than 98% of the country. he is stronger than the average man but he is no match compared to Olympic runner or a weightlifter. he is probably the best shape among 60 and over. no body bashes Clint Eastwood or Harrison ford simply because they aren't characters that do any kind of sports and don't have to be in shape in most of their movies. Clint Eastwood and Stallone are totally different actors, Clint known for his dirty harry movies and westerns also. Stallone known for rocky and Rambo movies. one requires great physical conditioning while the other does not. it just wouldn't look right for Clint to be shirtless in a western with six pack abs. Clint doesn't have to strong to play his roles. the same with Harrison ford. with money that Stallone has their is no telling what he takes to be in shape as he is now. temptation always lingers with steroids or other performance enhancing drugs at this age to look like he did back in his prime.

you realise that 2% is about 5 million people. I dont think theres 5 million olympic athletes in the country. THe guy was just making a generic statement that it is really impressive he has stayed in such great shape. And maybe its 98% maybe its 80% the point was jsut that hes stayed in amaazing shape, more than most people can do, you dont have to totaly pick him apart for it.

I was not speaking about his strength, speed, etc., I was referring to his physical appearance after all these years.

Since when was I comparing him to any top athlete or any in general? To compare him to Olympic athletes is ridiculous.... 🙄

"...he is stronger than the average man"

My point exactly, I said nothing more.

Steroids? Seriously, taking steroids or similar drugs would potentially damage his heart or quite possibly slowly kill him at this age. I'd understand where you were coming from had you said this about his Rambo days; It's one thing to place these drugs into your system between the ages of 20-45...but sixty? Your body changes and becomes unequipped to handle these materials within the body as before.

A few tools his money would realistically enable him to use are trainers, nutritionists, dieticians, chefs, etc. which would provide him with some edge I suppose.

I've seen recent videos where he's instructing exercise enthusiasts on the proper exercises and methods of performing them, he really does train intensely.

I was using an Olympic weightlifter as an example. there may not be 5 million Olympic athletes in the country but he would have the same strength as a defensive back on a college or NFL team. He stayed in shape simply because he has the money and resources to do so while a good portion of middle class America can't do what he could do at that age. money makes all difference in this situation. you can do what the average Joe can't do and that is get the best possible help when it comes to weightlifting and nutrition. the middle man has to rely on what he has in his pocket after the bills are settled to buy what nutrition he can with his money. age is a factor in this and after the age of 50 you lose six pounds of muscle. even if age is a factor there are always loopholes to it and whatever loopholes it is it seems to be working well. I have no need to pick him apart and no one has the power to do so. the point is the guy makes millions of dollars a year it is easy for him to do what he does, but for someone who struggles to put food on the table is not.

How in the world did this topic swing over to his financial prowless and comparisons to the middle class? The subject was Rocky 6, and his physical appearance in the film was my point.

Fine he has money...so does everyone else in the entertainment industry, but do they look like him at age sixty? Money may supply the resources but it's his own will and dedication that enable him to look the way he does today.

You can give anyone concrete, metal, and all other equipment necessary to build a home...but can they all do it simply because they have the resources?

Another thing, I myself am part of the working class your speaking of but this does not hinder one's ability to work out three times a week for 40 minutes at the local YMCA. 😉

You don't have to have 200 pounds in muscle to be fit either, remember Bruce Lee?
