STATEMENT:
THE FORCE OF THE EXPLOSION IS CARRYING ME =/= I TOOK THE EXPLOSION OF THE PLANET
IT WAS NOT STATED THAT HE TOOK THE EXPLOSION OF THE PLANET, THE FORCE OF THE EXPLOSION CARRIED HIM. HE DIDN'T TOOK THE EXPLOSION.
STOP ASSUMING...
DID YOU READ WHAT I POST,

Stop spamming and turn off the caps lock.
Furthermore, there's never a significant difference between travel and reaction speed. If there was, then people would be bumping into things or offshooting their destinations by incredibly wide margins.

Really...so getting caught in a blast...does not equal being hit by the blast?
Superman took the blast of an exploding planet.

I believe this statement confuses everyone that comes here...it makes no sense. Anyway that's a minor feat considering he just took a 50x supernova blast.

Did you read the page? Planet blows up..and the blast knocks Superman throgh the phantom zone to Earth.
Don't spam up the Respect thread...particularly with an attitude. Nobody (and certainly not I) will want to help you with your request.

HE WAS NOT CAUGHT in the EXPLOSION..
YOU HAVE NO PROOF...
DID HE TOOK THE BLAST OF AN EXPLOSDING PLANET? WHERE?
THE "FORCE" OF THE EXPLOSION CARRIED HIM..
ISN'T THAT CLEAR, HE WAS NOT CAUGHT AND HE DID NOT TOOK IT..
I'M NOT SPAMMING, ALL I WANT IS PROOF. THAT IS SO SIMPLE WHY CANT YOU SHOW THE PAGE BEFORE THAT SCAN IF YOU'RE NOT HIDING SOMETHING.
AND HE DID NOT TOOK A SUPERNOVA 50x:
Please notice he never touches the explosion, and be sure to read EVERY DETAIL IN THE FEAT YOU ARE SAYING:
“The explosion was about fifty tmes the size of Kepler’s Supernova. The electromagnetic shockwave came rushing towards Clark at the speed of light. Right behind him was an expanding ball of radiation that would have incinerated Clark as soon as it touched him."
What was that?
that would have incinerated Clark as soon as it touched him
that would have incinerated Clark as soon as it touched him
that would have incinerated Clark as soon as it touched him
OH, so he never touched the explosion, he luckily outflew it.

i'm not spamming,
but that doesn't prove that combat speed and travel speed is equal.
a marathon runner can run fast but his combat speed is not as fast as the kung fu master.
a kung fu master has fast combat speed but can't run as fast as the marathon runner.
anyway travel speed is travel speed, it has no connection on how fast his combat speed.

(btw, a sprinter would make for a better comparison than a marathon runner, who generally goes a lot slower to pace himself over the longer stretch)

ex·plo·sion /ɪkˈsploʊʒən/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ik-sploh-zhuhn] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. an act or instance of exploding; a violent expansion or bursting with noise, as of gunpowder or a boiler (opposed to implosion).
2. the noise itself: The loud explosion woke them.
3. a violent outburst, as of laughter or anger.
4. a sudden, rapid, or great increase: a population explosion.
5. the burning of the mixture of fuel and air in an internal-combustion engine.
If the planet EXPLODED and he got caught in the force of the EXPLOSION...what exactly does it mean to you?
I still don't see where you are coming from.
Though his English leaves something to be desired, and his CAPS is aggravatingly annoying, he does have a point, the blast would have killed Clark, he just out flew it.
I also know what he means with the explosion. If you "ride" an explosion your always on the outside of it being pushed by it. Meaning he didn't actually take the brunt of the explosion. He rid the outside of it rather then taking the blast head on, smart really. If you've seen Star Trek you'd have dozens of examples of what he's trying to say. Basically he's riding the shockwave rather then taking the blast. Thats what I think he's attempting to say anyways.

Well...it makes perfect sense that way and I concede that point. He indeed was riding the shockwave of the blast. Even riding the shockwave of an explosion the exploding a planet is a fine feat..particularly since this is Byrne Superman.
