lol, couldn't resist the temptation of using science to explain the personally induced stupidity of illogical literature of this nature, especially since it upsets me.

The scale Captain Marvel mentioned was referring to Mandrakk, not the book.
right,i didn't notice perhaps digi can correct that aswell?
i didn't like how he was reverted by the feedback though , and did the monitor lady mean CM had 4d vision when she said others? & CM could of helped with lifting that ship.

Morrison likely needed to turn the odd by the end of the title while reinforcing the idea that staying in limbo eroded their intellect. Best Captain Marvel moment in well over a year, though.

I'm certain the others had it, too. Remember: Most of them were similar versions of Supermen from other worlds with very similar powers, so they must have found the same means of adapting to the fourth dimension.
CM could of helped with lifting that ship.
Do you mean he could have helped but didn't or that he may have helped? If I recall correctly, Cap was helping with the Monitor's ship, so he was busy at the time.
I don't have the scans for it, but in Superman #680, Kal fights Atlas and defeats him in under a minute when he gets help in the form of magical protection from Zatara. Unfortunately, the fight was off panel.
actually it wasn't really magical protection was it? it seemed as if somehow supe's enemies were messing magically with his connection to the sun and zatara was able to re-establish it for that minute. meaning that when fighting at his normal level supes was able to beat atlas in under a minute. thats how i understood it anyway. i could be wrong.

That was one of the possibilities that I considered. I take it as one of those things that writers have a different opinion on, not unlike the whole magic vulnerability issue, so I thought it best not to assume what Robinson intended at the time
