If you're referring to the astrodites, It is a planet but not fully grown or not moon size or not earth size. It can be an island size planet or city size planet or in other words, it's not a fully grown planet.

Overestimation number 2

The VoidHound(the ship you're talking about) cannot destroy the sun or planet earth in a single blast. And Superman tank the single blast once, not twice or repeatedly. Prove me that a single blast from the Void Hound can destroy the sun or planet earth.
