Superman vs. Hulk

He can be DOS kind of fast. Thats the fastest i saw him be. How fast was Moongoose anyway?

In a close match ala DOS. Not a long distance figth. Unless Supes is dumbed down.

He lifted the weight of the Serpent. Granted the Serpent was figthing back and we all could see side effects of the struggle on Earth.

Its still easily a planetary level feat.

I think most would agree DD would take the Hulk out. The weakest incarnation of Superman took out a guy who could beat the Hulk. DOS Superman is not a good example to use as power but if you want to that's fine.

In close range Supes would still take Hulk he has beat guys like Mongul, Lobo, Doomsday at close range. The best example is the 1999 crossover fight in wich Supes didn't even want to fight Hulk and was basically fighting him close range and Hulk could not get the upperhand.

I used DOS for the following reasons:

The speed. Blurs, faster than humans could react but not faster than the eye could perceive. Thor has done those without the hammer.

The endless bricks vs flying bricks debate. A brick like DD that cant fly but can jump extremely high, has strenght and insane healing ability..reminds us of anyone?

I for myself dont belive DOS to be above the Savage H. Neither Thor. And im talking physically only. But again its my opinion, mostly based on the Byrne Superman level.

Those close range examples arent the best. The "win" Superman has against Lobo without an outside boost its the BFR one. While its a tecnical win, Lobo wasent beaten or even near to it.

Mongul Sr was a match to a weaker Byrne Superman that won one round and lost the second. I dont think he fougth others times prior to that, that shows him better. His son is probably something else, how many wins does he have?

Btw. You also have Superman close match against Mon - El outside the Ecpliso boost, wich he didnt looked all that well in the end. Albeigh still conscious before Lobo stepped in.

Superman physically alone isent above his fellow top tiers. Or -that- above if you count outside circunstances boosts.

Irrevelant example. It was a voted figth. You can use the other times they fougth, tho.

Its the same as saying Hulk releasing his full strenght potential takes anyone in a close match 10-10. His record doesnt show it.

Superman figthing smart and keeping some distance does take the majority. For the record.

But Superman didn't win either. I believe the last move he made was pinballing the Hulk into a mountain, which didn't end the fight. Hulk was about to attack again, but something took them both out.

I can't remember exactly, though. Can somebody please post the entire fight?

Yeah, that would be good. Always heard that it ended in a draw. And even that it was a "what if", im curious about it.

The fight was a draw. But Supes didn't want to fight, he was trying to talk sense into the Hulk. Hulk was trying to smash Supes.
