Spell, you have said in a number of posts that you support gay marriage...but that hasn't stopped me from hating your mindless babbling.
When a group of people happen to disagree with you, it doesn't mean they're automatically in a clique, merely that they disagree with you.
"Groupthink", as you call it, is merely a few people agreeing with eachother. Perhaps they've all come to the same opinion independently, through their own research and observations and merely happen to agree, as opposed to just "following the leader" so to speak. Which is what is being suggested here.
