Why do Christians get so mad about non-Christians saying that there is no god?

Well?

For Christians it must be Christ..But, I bet someone will say Peter... 🙄 Then again, it might be finti..the Viking god of sitting on the couch, drinking beer and watching a game. I guess it depends on your denomination.

For Christians, it is Jesus Christ.

according to the scripture Peter was to rock which upon jesus should build his church, the church is all about jesus though so i guess the answer has to be jesus

Actually, it was not Peter to which the Church was built upon when Jesus said: "and upon this rock I will build my church".

Jesus meant Himself. And Peter says it's Jesus.

if you go historical and past the 'truths' the church has forced upon us, it's Mary Magdalene with her convincing the others that Jesus had risen from the dead

Yes. Peter's name is literally a "rock"... but he was not him considered by Jesus as the Rock to which the Chrch must be built upon.

When Jesus said that "On the rock I will build my church", he meant that on the truth of what Peter was saying (being Jesus), that his church would grow.

Matt. 16, 15-18: "'And you,' he said to them, 'who do you say that I am?' 'You are the Messiah,' Simon Peter answered, the Son of the living God!' Jesus replied, 'Blest are you, Simon son of John! No mere man has revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. I for my part declare to you, you are Rock and on this rock I will build my church, and the jaws of death shall not prevail against it.'"
well this version clearly states that peter is the rock, but then again there are other versions of this same Matt 16:15-18 so the confusion is total
