I don't think that's true. I remember Mace telling Rostu he could have killed Vastor in armed combat, just that Rostu or both of them would have died against all the Akk Guards.

Mace said to nick that even if he beat Kar he would be killed by the akk guards. Later he realized that there was no way he can beat Kar in armed combat. I read that book two weeks ago and it was a good book.

Yeah, Vastor would win especially after Mace killed him even with a hole in his stomach from fighitng Depa. Yeah, Vastor just had a little disadvantage and Mace was at his prime wink1

The point is that you two are claiming one thing and providing no proof (Not in the form of page numbers or anything) and while you might be right, Glentract and I both own the books and we say otherwise. I'd go over it with you but of course you had to call me out while at work.
