There was a recent article from Florida where a python had swallowed an alligator.Sadly the alligator was too big and ended up bursting through the stomach of the snake, killing it. Both animals were dead.

There's quite a large number of pythons in the everglades now. A growing population.
The alligators were allegedly being relied upon to keep the growing python populace down. Apparantly they're not doing a good job.

I think the floridian authorities have captured something like 300 pythons or constrictor in the everglades in the last 10 years.
People are releasing their pets and messing things up.
I guess people must've brought them there.. I'm pretty sure that they aren't native to Florida. Well at least that's what I always heard.. that you have to go somewhere like the amazon to see pythons and boa constricutors and whatnot in the wild.
I've never been to the glades.. but I want to go.. would be cool to see an alligator or a python in the wild.
There was an article a long time ago about a guy who fell asleep on the job and got swallowed my a huge python. When they cut the snae open the guy was still in there. It was in the Amazon...I think. anyway it was I true story. Now that is freaky! 😱 The snake died couse the guy was to big for it to digest. The guy also was dead.
