[Proposal] New Signature Contest

In the past the official signature contests have always been lots of fun for all. Its been nearly a year, so Raz I request that we hold the Fifth Official Signature Contest. Please post your support fellow signature makers and admirers. 😄

Raz would come up with the guidlines about what the subject matter has to be, the size limits (pixel and kb) and also maybe a color theme.

So whadda ya say?

I asked raz few weeks ago about it - he said he was busy.

Ush could possibly do it...rules and regularions, etc.

Yeah, Raz himself doesn't have to do it, just as long as we have someone set everything up and also at least 5 non-biased judges to pick the top 3 signatures.

I'm up for it. I know Hegemon is as well as he PMed me earlier asking if I'd support it.

I think he should just go with the same guidelines that we've used before, if I remember correctly they were that it had to be a sig that you'd use on the forums, under something like 100kb, and it couldn't be something that you've used before.

Anyway, I say it's about time for another one, the last one was like last July. And damnit, I think I'm good enough to actually win this time 😂 😛

The judges are not necessarily mods, in the past regular members have been asked to judge.

You can't apply to be a judge, they are chosen on the basis of their knowledge and understanding of the competition. Like the poetry competition, for example. Lana and I were chosen...

And I think it's an awesome idea and about time too!

I think the contest is a good idea, but alas, as said, I won't be able to judge. Although I'm sure we can find two moderators to fill this role. I'm thinking maybe Ush and lil_b if they're willing?

Good idea... I would have nominated Lana or Ken as judges but obviously they're going to be entering.

How do you enter and when does this thing start/ how many sigs can you enter ?

You enter by posting one signature, it starts when a mod creates the thread. Of course things could change thats just how it was before.
