I don't know if they are the crystals used but it's something new.
Also on the planet Adega the saber crystals were originally aquired, later they were grown(wtf?) on the ice planet Ilum.

I don't know where the red and purple ones are from, I just can't seem to find anything on that chaotic internet..

Red crystals are made, they're not found. And I heard the planet Mace was born on had a cave or something with the purple crystal.

What made ppl think it was Dantooine, may i ask?

Because in Knights of the Old Republic there are caves on Dantooine that grow lightsaber crystals.

Can't it be both?

Hmmmmm i never finished that game. Might be both, but the KOTOR was set like 20000 years before the movie. So i guess that one might have run out of crystals?

its definatly Ilum, wen he said a cave it could have been both but(just for 1 example)if you watch the CW u'll see Ilum is the Ice cave

Well, this isn't a discussion or something, it is true that those crystals are grown on Ilum, and it seems as though they are grown on Dantooine as well although it was stated that originally the crystals were acquired on Adega.

Did you mean that at the Lorshan Pass cave, there are purple crystals that are not found on Ilum?
