It's good in the movie as it is, the blue v.s. blue works great against the lava backround as well.
I just had an idea in my head that when he turned evil, his robes would be black and and he would have the red saber.
(maybe palps coulda given it to him, who knows?)
It's just one of those things that coulda went either way, and I find it interesting to see how the movie coulda been with the red saber. 😉
yeah I know what you mean, everybody had his own ideas about how the fight would have been, and of course you assume he would fight with a red one...that's logical.
There were also rumours, that he lost his blue lightsaber and he would suddenly come up with a red one. Didn't happen...would also be a good idea...and yeah that one could have been given by palps.
Actually in the game if you play the duel as Anakin (isn't canon of course) Palps gives you a red saber if you won and Anakin stabs him saying the Empire is his. Pretty cool actually...I was thinking of making that in a comic...a sort of infinities comic where Anakin survived the duel. I'm already working on the story.
