DVD deleted scenes.

Here's what I have to say to Lucas: TELL US NOW!

the scenes that were filmed would of slowed down the pace considerably - and at this point in the film, everything happens very quickly.

You know, after watching the deleted scenes, I can really understand why the Yoda scene was cut, but... Why, oh why did he have to cut the rebellion scenes?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! THEY TIED THIS FILM AND THE ONES THAT FOLLOW TOGETHER EXTREMELY WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why?!?

I you watch the intro of the deleted scene, Rick McCallum explains it perfectly.

the rebellion scenes shouldn't have been cut and qui-gon's scene should have been completed. I love Yoda's scene, but is it possible that he may be involved in future tv projects and that the exile scene may fit better at the end of one of those projects?

It's so dumb the Yoda scene got deleted.

What I do not understand is why only 6 scenes were included in the DVD release. We know other scenes were cut such as the Obi-Wan/Padme conversation, The Yoda scene on Kashykk where he pretends to be a madman and the Yoda/Mace conversation before Mace goes to arrest the Cancellor.
Anyone got any ideas why these scenes were not included in the DVD?

They weren't finished i think.

i wanted to see the scene where yoda pretends to be an infant with obiwan turning him in to a stormtrooper right before they surpise them and begin slaughtering them at the jedi temple. it was in the novel and i'm sure they tried to film it. I'd also like to see the rumored deleted scenes with Captain Needa trading insults with General greivous.
