The mods are not elected representatives. This is a privately owned forum, and Raz pays the money for it. Therefore none of the mods are required to be accountable to anyone at all. Things are run the way Raz wants them, and the mods assist him in that. Don't like it? Tough titty. It is HIS forum.
If Raz wanted a system where people were banned for using vowels in their posts, then that is the way it would be. As it is, we don't have anything that absurd- in fact, we rather feel we have a good system here which has contributed towards KMC becoming the success it is. But he fact remains that who gets banned is absolutely the mods business and anyone who is unhappy with it... just have to live with it.
People complain about a lack of consistency, or one person doing something that someone else was banned for but not being so... newsflash, folks, KMC is not run by robots. Some rules are certainties- spam like mad and you are out- but everything else is judged by a huamn or humans on an individual basis, often dependant on many complex circumstances. And so we come to a decision. Some people might not like that decision. Again- tough.
Sure, you can vote with yuor feet and leave- but you won't, because much as you may want to make staggeringly retarded whining about dictatorship- as if this WAS some publically elected body that wasn't being privately paid for- fact is, this is a rather well run place, and so people will stay.
And I can state with absolutel certainty that it is run better than any attempt at communal running could ever produce.
Oh- and no, we don't really care if you mod somewhere else, either.

Raz is the shit but no one man can do it by himself. Raz is fair!! also lets all donate to raz..I don't see a banner for donations because I would donate money to him if it was by money order and not check..I don't do checks.
