lol, you need the sugar afterwards. Lol a bunch of my friends gave blood some yrs back and they were all sleepy and mopey all afternoon. all they needed was something with sugar.

I'm suprised they gave you a donut, ussualy they give you juice. They just give you something with a high glycemic index to encourage higher insulin levels so you don't passout from the blood loss..

And yes, I'm well aware I just sucked the fun out of getting free donuts. 😈

You should've forced them to give you money. If they didn't, you should've taken the blood from them and drank it.
