Creepshow 2

I got this movie yesterday at a very cheep price but I was wondering how many enjoyed this movie. It may seem a litte cheesy by today's movies but I still love to watch it. My favorite story would have to be "The Raft" with that killer oil slick terrorizing those teens. Just wondering what others felt on this classic.

Good movie, sitting proudly in my collection. I still think that part one is much better, but two is great in its own way. I like "Old Chief Wood'nhead" best.

Yeah the tale of Old Chief Wood'n head was my favorite.

The Hitchhiker and The Raft.

😉

One word...........''The Raft'' 🤘

Yes it is,I like it better than the 1st 😄

It looks like this thread has been long dead and forgive me for turning it into a zombie thread. Forgive me for writing so much … but I am really bored right now and have nothing better to do.

I just saw Creepshow 2 for the first time last night. I own the first movie and for some reason I just never bothered with the 2nd movie. After seeing it, I'll put my 2 cents in:

Chief Woodenhead - Awesome story. This story really makes you feel for the old people who got murdered. The story is great and I found myself cheering each time one of the baddies was killed.

The Raft- Basically a "The Blob" rip off, but still entertaining. Nice gore and gratuitous boob shots. Probably my least favorite of the three, but still good.

The Hitch hiker- Utterly hilarious story. I highly doubt that this story was supposed to be scary, it's more of a funny and gory story. Man did I laugh my ass off while watching this story, the hitch hiker guy gets utterly mutilated over and over... and over again. Good stuff.

Overall it's still not better that Creepshow 1, but it's good in it's own rite. The animation parts were ok. The movie was make for people who enjoy cheesy/silly, gory horror and both King and Romero delivered. I think I'll pick this up if I see it on sale.

creepshow 2 is a good stoner movie, but thats about it

I love it, personally. It didn't have the "feel" of the first Creepshow, in my opinion, but it still delivered.

They made a third creepshow but its a un-offical one.

I've been meaning to buy the first two Creepshow movies. Good stuff. I didn't bother with the third though.

Damn, i loved "Creepshow". 1 and 2. I use to watch it alot but i haven't seen it in many years. The story with those water mummies that kept saying "can you hold your breath?" to Leslie Nielson was my favorite story followed by "The Raft". I remember mimicking the water mummy voice as a kid and scaring my cousins and sisters with it.

Man, I think i'm gonna pick the up the 2 right now on ebay or amazon.

Yea, i picked up "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" and "Creepshow" 1,2 and 3.

I haven't seen 3 yet but i have a feeling it won't that good or at least as good as the first 2 since it was made in 2006. Most B horror movies these days puke green horsesh*t, so.

Also, unbenowkonst to me, there's a "Creepshow" (2008) movie. Not sure if it's a remake or not but do i know that Stepen King is tied to it so it should be interesting.

Ah, i just found some info on the movieinsider website..

"Creepshow 2008: A remake of the George Romero-Stephen King horror film ''Creepshow'' where characters collide with one another in a story anthology."

Cool. Release date (2008) Exact date (TBA)

I finally saw all the movies, again. (after years) and I’ll have to say that Creepshow 1 is better than pt. 2. “Tales from the Darkside: The Movie” (TFTD:TM) was good too.

I didn’t know that the makers of TFTD:TM made the “Creepshow”s, as well. I was listening to the commentary on (TFTD:TM) last night and Romero was on it talking about how him and King collaborated in ’89-’90 to make the film.

Now, “Creepshow 3” (my GOODNESS what a disaster of a movie!) “Creepshow 3” has got to be the absolute worst horror movie of all time!! No, not only is it the worst horror movie of all time, it is the worst movie of all time. I have never been more insulted as a horror fan. The film should’ve been called “Crapshow 3”. How dare anyone give this horrid mess a green light! I thought the Sci-Fi channel the had crappiest of horror movies around especially their original stuff (which isn’t really original but more exclusive) but this movie takes the cake BIG-time, colossally. This movie sucks muddy (insert expletive word here) all day.

Creepshow 3 = a travesty! Just as I knew. The movies worth 100x’s less than what it weighs which is less than a pound. Absolutely disgusted by how sucky this movie was. It made no sense, the tech look super-duper fake, the acting was horrible, just horrible, and the stories tied into nothing on top of them not making any sense. I didn’t even do cheesiness right. This movie upset me. Cause how can an excellent and classic horror movie like Creepshow be tied to this utterly shitehole of a film. I swear the film looks like it was made in one day. I’ve never felt this way but I almost turned the movie off, by 2 seconds, but didn’t cause I wanted to see it through so I could really comment on it fully. Then there’s the “Creepshow” remake or “Creepshow 4” that due out this year..God help us.

Man o man, I give this movie a 0 /10. I’ve never given a movie that score. From now on I declare “Creepshow 3” as the worst film and/or horror movie of, all, time!. Avoid it at all costs.
