No, I'm afraid it isn't defeat. If he would have killed Raziel, then he would have defeated him, but Kain can't destroy him. If that was the case then Sephiroth won in Advent Children, because he had Cloud on the ground and pinned to the wall with his asword through Cloud's shoulder, that's more than Kain has ever done to Raziel. Please, stop ignoring the facts to make Kain look better.
