Yeah, I know, that was kinda hypocritical of me, at least how I worded it 😛
But my point is, you should give other people a chance even if they don't fit whatever the hell the definition of cool is that precise second; if you don't do so, then you have no idea what you're missing. You could miss out on meeting someone who could wind up being your best friend.
And the way she said she looks down on those less fortunate makes it seem as though she thinks she's better than people she thinks are geeks. Which kinda pisses me off.

Well, she is only a 15 year old child with not much life experience and not much of a clue. Don't waste your energy. By the time she figures out that she doesn't know what she's talking about we'll all be that much older and that much wiser.

I don't claim to not be a hypocrite, if I make a hypocritical statement I'll own up to it. I just really don't like how incredibly superficial and shallow people can be. I really try to NOT be. I honestly think that personality and matching interests are more important for a relationship than looks. Because in the long run, what's going to matter more? Looks don't last forever.
