COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A pest exterminator wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Colerain Township woman shot and killed himself in Brown County, News 5 reported.
Wayne Bee, or the "Critter Gitter" as he's known from television commercials, was wanted on one count of aggravated murder, police said.
A homeowner on the 5600 block of Big Run Road called 911 Tuesday afternoon, saying that a suspicious man was going door-to-door, asking for help. Police reportedly surrounded Bee in a wooded area, and then he shot himself.
Bee was accused of killing 39-year-old Kimberly A. Freson Tuesday morning. Her body, bound with duct tape, was found in the front yard of a home on the 3600 block of Woodsong Drive around 9 a.m.
Caller: "I have a lady who's down."
911 Dispatcher: "OK, is she breathing?"
Caller: "I don't know. She's bound at the neck, taped up, and she's bleeding from her abdomen. I can't get the duct tape off her neck. Breathe Kim. Breathe, breathe!"
"She was so sweet and caring," Lindsey Brunkel said. "She was really good."
Bee had a history of abuse charges stretching back 16 years. Both his first and second wives have restraining orders against Bee.
His second wife accused Bee of tying her up and assaulting her with an electrical device.
"He held a gun to my head, beat me and raped me, and I've lived in fear ever since," Rhonda Wilson said. "From the beginning of our relationship, he was very controlling and aggressive. I'm terrified of him. I wear a personal alarm around my neck every day, and I sleep with a gun under my pillow."
The charges against Bee were dropped in August.
