I thought the same thing when I saw the posters for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,(and especially the cardboard cut-out for the dvd release) that while Harry always had long hair, he looked a little more.....Anakin like this time around.

I always thought that the WB guys probably modeled his look off of the biggest movie out that year, as they are very similar.

yes... the last harry potter movie...at the end when V. and HP were having their sort of fight scene... V. had lasers -- V. had red and harry potter had red or green... well in SW - there was a red laser and a green laser -- and also V. could move his hand in front of HP and move HP away or push him back... it was something very close to that
(I just asked a HP fanatic just now just to make sure I wasnt imaging this scene and they remembered exactly this too-- and this person hates SW ..so )

ahh right, yer i know what you mean, the priori incantato, i guess that could have looked like a couple of lasers.
sorry i thought you were saying that they were using lasers
and voldemort wasn't exactly pushing harry back using his hand, his spell was a lot stronger than harry's so he was slowly getting pushed back by that.
