Still a classic film - It was based on a banned TV movie and given the big screen treatment.

"Turn him over" - probably owes a lot to deliverance.

"I thought you were vegeterian."

I'll comment... a friend of mine has been trying to get me to see it for years, but when I rememeber, I can't find it, and for the most part, I forget.. what can you compare it to?

Good british film making, very harrowing. Ray Winstone is a very good actor.
I always remember the Bath scene and the pool balls in the sock.
