I have to say, "The Batman" really pisses me off

Its not as dark as TAS but I wouldn't say its campy. Compared to many other kids action shows it's still realtively dark. The animation is a little to stylized for my taste though.

Anyway the only gripe Ive got with the show are the villians. The joker is first and foremost a clown, Im not seeing that in the show. He looks more like a drunken master martial artists who happens to have on alot of make-up or something. Mr. freeze becoming just some bank robber who got chemicals spilled on him is just lazy IMO they totally took out what made him interesting as a character. And for some unknown reason just about every villian is a black belt in some sort of fighting style, the penguin making the least amount of sense. But I do look the new origin of clay face.

The show just seems so much more generic now..

Been watchin the Batman for a couple of weeks on Sky Digitals CBBC channel and here are some of my comments:
~The clayface origin with Ethan is really good in my opinion.
~The only time i was pleased to see the new Joker was when he appeared in his suit yet i was still disapointed.
~i am liking the intro.
~Have no idea what the hell happened with the Riddler i mean its marilyn manson!
So far i am 50/50 on this show i dont hate it that much though!

Batgirl doesn't suck as much as I though she would have.
I like the Gothic Riddler...he's cooler than the "I'm smarter than you" Riddler in my humble opinion.
the Clayface being Bennet isn't too shabby..he was once Batman biggest supporter now he's one of Batman greatest enemies

is it just me or does The Batman fight Joker and Penguin a little too often?

I think all of you have no artistic taste, the drawings are just amazingand i think the creators are trying to take the comic to a whole new level, making it more cool and modern. Sticking to the original drawings is crap and makes it look old school

I agree The Batman does suck indeed.
The one from the 90's was the best.
I still watch it on Boomerang when I get the chance to.

IT still sucks lol.

Bad shows like the Batman are not cancle.

And seeing GREAT shows getting cancle like JLU.

BTAS Batman would whip THE Batman any day of the week. And thsos are not "New" designs, there just awful.

And it WOULD not suck if they stick to the comic designs.

just read some of the fourm now for the frist time i gotta say i dont think its to bad but it doesent do justic to bats batman vs dracula was awsome the animation isent to great batgirl isent a veary good char i do like the them song as for the riddler he is still a very smart char but yes stupid looking and over all wat i dont like is the badguys dont stay tru to the storie when it comes to backround story

I don't like the new cartoon. The best part of it is the them song. But the TAS theme is way better.

The TAS theme was legendary...

That theme tune will always be the bats signature tune
