Jason goes to hell discussion

I am about to watch this movie again to refresh my memory(just got it on dvd) I want to know what you guy's thought of this movie,I will post more soon,as soon as I am done watching it......

A few nice death scenes in it but I don't like the fact that Jasons 'soul' carries on from one person to another after that black bloke eats his heart.

Movie sucks. End of discussion.

❌ No it's not.

Just finished watching this movie, here are my thoughts,

This movie opened up pretty good with Jason getting blown to bits in the first 10 minutes and his head flying off in slow motion which is one of the best scenes I have seen in the franchise,Even though you do not se Jason too much,I also think it is the best looking ''zombie jason'' since part 7,now with the movie just starting and Jason already blown to bits,we are left thinking 🤨 Now HERE is where it gets messy, this movie tried somthing different, now instead of Jason being the killer, well he still is,but his soul is using different bodies, which I thought worked pretty good but understand why some people did not like it.......I am NOT saying this is a good movie, but I think it is very watchable, and how's this.......

While watching it again I noticed the ''Book of the dead'' from the Evil dead movies is in this film 😱

Which opens the question.....Is Jason's soul, connected with the ''Evil Dead'' somehow? ........I think so

Also this film has the BEST suprise ending ever!

The beginning was the best part of JGTH. It's weird how Jason looked pretty much the same from Parts 6 through 8 but then suddenly changes in JGTH.

The idea of the movie sounds great. You never know who the killer is! Jason could be anybody! But in execution, it falls flat. You wind up with a F13 movie that has the least amount of Mr. Voorhees since Part 1.

The highlights were the Necronomicon and Freddy's hand at the end. To answer your question, the book doesn't mean anything. Horrors used to reference to each other a lot back in the day.

Thanks for taking a bit of time with your post....I still wonder why they chose to put the ''book of the dead'' in it though.......Maybe they were thinking of doing a movie with Ash in it a long time ago......

What did you say about MacDonalds?! 🤨

I'd have to say that yes this is my least favourite Friday the 13th movie.

Then would be Jason X & Jason Takes Manhattan.

the movie has good areas, like the feel (they did a great job with some of the shots and the use of lights) but in the end, it falls in a heap. Jason 7 is my fave of the other movies after 1, but this didn't really do much for me at all

If freddys hand was at the end does that mean that it's connected with Jason vs freddy?

I'd rather have my prostate checked than watch this movie ever again. It sucked. Period. Like CD said: End of Discussion.

Right OK. Anyone else got a better answer?

Freddy's hand did hint at FvJ. Of course, that took a very long time and it got fans of both franchises to want it more and more.

The thread starter asked us what our opinons are about this movie, not make some kind of critique/statment about the entire movie. Thats my opinion. You don't like it?...........................oh, well.

Did Jason actually die at the end of Jason goes to hell?

Yup.
