Hosted Area Game Ideas Submission- READ THIS THREAD FIRST!

Okay,

I've been really busy in making a Dungeons and Dragons variant set where magic is dead and the many races have expanded beyond the Earth.

It still needs a little fine-tuning but the rules will be set similar to the D&D Role-play game.

The title also needs some work as it was originally 3929AME; No Dungeons and No Dragons.
I'll post an introductory story in the Fiction Threads to give an idea on the setting of the whole game.

There will be guns, drugs, organised crime and very much more...

All of the original races like the Elves, Dwarves and Gnomes will all be there with an additional two new playable races but almost all with new rules and names.

for example;

Elf - Elden
Dwarf - Delnan
and the Drow-Elves (Which i've made playable as a fully listed race) - The Dreld

And instead of Wizards and Sorcerers there will be Trained Psychics and Rogue Psychics.

This is the first advertisement of the new game just to see how many people are interested in playing in one of my up-and-coming hosted futuristic games...

Resident evil: USA

Story:

Umbrella has released the virus all over the United States of America. the former members of stars, and the mercenaries are now the only ones who can stop the monsters and get out.. hopefully with their lives. the monsters consist of:

Nemisis
Raven
Tyrent v1, v2, 3, and v4
Zombies
Naked zombies (not actually naked... more of skinless)
Cerberus' (Zombie dogs)
Giant spiders
Giant snakes
Snakes

The S.T.A.R.S team consist of:

Jill Valentine
Berry Burtan
Rebecca Chambers
Chris Redfeild

Mercineries consist of:

Hunk
Carlos Riviera
Clair Redfeild
Leon S. Kennedy
Billy Coen

Sounds interesting. Reminds me of the Citadel game, Inquisitor.

THE LAST AGE

Earth is approaching the end due to the insane nuclear experimentation by Dr Hugh Ammadon (AKA Dr armageddon). Now the last great heroies must save earth. Three great arts are wielded by the heroes: sorcery: the ability to wield magic to a limited degree, mutation: a mutant has a certain power or powers and finally technology, a master of using weaponary, piloting etc. the last heroes must together go on a quest and cross the heavily guarded nuclear strom terrain to reach Amaddon's HQ, kill him and shutdown the facility to stop the apocalypse! anyone interested?

NAME: Jack king
NICKNAME/ ALIAS: Element
CLASS: Mutant
POWER: Controlling the base elements (fire, wind, water, earth), flight
WEAPON(primary): Plasma cannon
WEAPON(secondary): cigarette lighter
BACKGROUND: Amaddon's 1st experiment mutated Jack king into the elemental mutant Element. King now seeks to get his revenge and is funded by old scientist Prof. knight, who will accompany them part- way, in an attempt to stop armageddon once ad for all!

So, is this any good?

BASIC RULES OF GAMEPLAY

1. Stay in character: for example, if your characters a bad ass hiutman he isnt going to suddenly burst into tears and yell for his mummy!

2. only RP arguments: The only arguments/ swearing etc allowed is to keep your player in- character etc. You can argue in a game way but any actual arguing and/or abuse etc and I will ask you to leave. If you don't, I complain to Ushgarak.

3. No Super Characters: You can only have 1 type, you can't be a tech-mutant-sorcerer and you DEFINITELY can't just be god-like in power, no teleporting us into the facility or causing the apocalypse, LOL, that job's left for Armageddon...

4. No God modding. I admit to having done this in the past but I have learnt and therefore I expect NO godmodding...

5. HAVE FUN AND REMEMBER RULES 1-4, they're for your enjoyment!

Basically, the last stuff I need to mention (I think) for The Last Age:

i will take part, I'm a kind of leader to the group but you all have input within REASON, but as i said, godmodders or people peeing around will be asked to leave.
PLEASE use grammar and spell check properly. there's nothing worse than taking 20 minutes to pick through a paragraph that's been abbreviated, misspelled and that has no punctuation. just try people, remember that you have a SPELL CHECK!
No killing other players. It just gets ridiculous and unfair if there's only 2 players left because some idiot's murdered them all and taken over the game...
I'll be a sort of equal leader, I'll lead but you can have control over what you do WITHIN REASON... I'll accept maybe a split- up if the split is NECESSARY but mainly we all stay together and try to work together.

Remeber you'll have to be patient until the rules are complete and that this RP is Hosted by me as the Game-Master.

I'll need about four or five people to begin with and if you wish to join later when it has begun you can't just 'Jump on the band wagon'; you'll need to post a description as to how you start in the RP and the story will veer in your direction until your one of the gang...

It should all be ready maybe within a month; I know thats a while but i am re-writing the entire set of rules here... 😮

So, what do you think about all this Ush? A real Role play like the ones you host!

Sounds good Aliies - just don't count on my support if the rules turn out a bit dodgy (mine always do 😛).

A lot of RPs set out as yours fail, due to a lack of dedication from either the players or the GM, or both. But, the concept's good, and I've been waiting for a game idea like this. If you need any help wth anything, just PM me.

Just a question - is it set in a space-age world/star system, or will we be constrained to just one planet?

oh.. i need to add a bit more....

Your Character will start out wherever you want them too, you can even go through the whole thing alone, which is not strongly suggested.... you will start out with either a Berrette, or a Knife, or an assult rifle. this rp will revolve around the monsters attacking you, and only the GM can say when you find a new weapon.

the rules:

1.NO GOD MODDING!!! (possebly the biggest rule of all)
2. No spamming!!! (another big rule)
3. you cannot kill another player, unless they have been infected or they are a zombie.
4. Do not act invincable, the monsters are stronger now, with more agility, and HP. so dont act like an action hero,
5. cussing is aloud IN CHARACTER do not be cussing ooc.

Monsters strength and weaknesses.

Zombie: Shoot in the head. easy 3 shot kill.

Cerberus: 1 shot kill with a shotgun, 7 shot kill with a handgun

any major thing: RUN FOR YOUR FRIGGIN LIFE!!!!!!

snakes: just step on them

Giant snake: good luck stepping on them.. better pull out the ol' grenade
launcher... (dont get bitten)

Giant spiders: a nice taste of acid grenade from the grenade launcher would be nice here.
