Everyone is working together swarn enemys become allies to whipe out these forces but will it be enough ? (who ever is in charge here , Ush is it ? if this is accepted it will be called Desperate Rebels )

I'd be interested in making a game, if you're familiar with whitewolf, you'd know that the GM makes most die rolls, it's a loosely based dice and stat system, and is a comic book based rpg.

Community of Heroes:
You explain to me your character, and based on the character I give you a sheet with stats, (powers, weapons, things like that don't directly effect anything, but may effect cirumstances, it's moreso just for flavour..)

There are four stats:
Strength: (Strength determines how much damage you deal plus 1d4)
Fighting: (Fighting is the atk roll your fighting stat plus 1d12 vs the opposing character's fighting plus 1d3. If your total atk roll becomes 1 or less it fails. If up against another PC both roll a d12.)
Energy: (Energy is your hp bassicaly, which is equal to 10+your energy stat.)
Intellect: (Intellect is for rp purposes like skill-checks, I will secretly make a dc, and you use your intellect plus a d8 to use your skill-check. Again, 1 or lower fails. If up against another PC you both roll a d8+int.)

There is also four types of characters you choose from.

Humans. (The most common species in the universe. Humans use technology and thier own unique skills.)
Mutants. (Not as common as Marvel's, but more often seen then other companies.)
Aliens. (Obvious.)
Magick. (Wether demons, angels, or some kindof horror story cliche like vampires and werewolves.)

I don't know if anybody would be interested in such a game, but unlike City of Heroes, I have several heavy plots in which supervillains control or atleast attempt control of the world, not by Dr. Doom domination, but by media control, goverment bribery, etc.

Hope to get good feedback though.. 🙂

lol, sure, makes things easier for me when you use real heroes anyways..

So, make surenoone else gets DD!

I had am idea...

Thought of it whislt playing my 'newish' XBox game: Kingdom under Fire; the Crusaders.

An RP based in the story and will be squad-based: you choose and make a special character and that will be you, then create a squad of infantry that will be yours alone to command.

Kingdom under Fire; Dark Holy War.

You can be on one of three sides...

The dark Legion that has Dark Elves or 'Villies', half-vampire which is the ruling class in the Legion or Orcs and Trolls.

The Ecclesian Military; a force of devout clerical human warriors who are both priests and soldiers, using strong holy majicks and brute strength to flatten their foes.

The royal forces of Hironeiden are basically Ecclesian but have developed some 'opposing-doctrines' that their pietious counterparts tend to dissagree with, yet are not enemies.

The main towns/cities the game will revole around are Esse, Ecclesia, Hironeiden and the dark-elven city Kleiiw.
The game will begin with a small-scale engagement at the foothills of Esse, anyone who wants to play will be involved in this skimish and may or may not all fight alongside throughout the campaign as the Dark Legion is on the march towards Holy city of Ecclesia.

If you do not wish to create your own character then some of the console-games characters can be used instead which i will provide a list of if and when this is authorised.

Every action you take will effect the outcome of the campaign and will lead to either the conquering of the Human lands or the defeat of the mighty Dark Legion, you will decide that as you face eachother.

I'm in for that, allies!

And another if no one is interested in Dark Holy War...

City Of Lead, A gangster story inspired by Tom Hanks in Road to Perdition.

The year is 1935 and winter falls heavily upon the city of Chicago...
The streets are lawless as dozens upon dozens of rival gangs war to take control after the fall of the Cipriani Family (This timeline is fictional, no scarface and the like...).

You play the role of a member of the McConnel syndicate who are a small family of organized crime who have had some rather bad luck recently as their once-powerful family was mowed down to just a handful of men skilled enough to stay alive in this dark time.
The Family is based just outside of town and the local police station rest firmly in the boss's pocket, making their territory safe which is a rare commodity.

The thing that will make the game interesting is that weapons like Tommy Guns (Thompson) are expensive and the McConnel family has no where near enough funds to purchase weapons like these.
Each player starts off with a pair of revolvers, a simple single shotgun (Maximum of two) or a single colt pistol.

You will have to be imaginative when enemies are firing at you as body armor is a fantasy unless you're like one of the characters that you will meet; 'The Russian Reaper...' the most notorious hitman available for hire who stands at seven feet.

Why do you trust him with online dice? 😮
You said it was illogical and unfair when i brought it up...

I just had an outstanding idea for the layout of the Dark Holy War RP.
It will be turn-based and i will draw a map of each battle and then edit symbols to represtent troop movements and positions as each unit type has their own movement distance.

To make it large-scaled, certain battles the people playing may command two or even three other unit besides their own.

I know you may dissagree but I'll post it anyway as it is an idea for an RP as an example of turn-based Role-PLay strategy.
This map example is Kellran Pass, depicting a small-scale engagemten agaist Dark Elves and Hironeiden knights and cavarly:

The two cavarly depiction shows their starting number and then the survivors, the red lines coming form the archers with a cross through means that their line of sight is hindered by the thick foliage they're in. the two cavalry units moved with such speed into one another because they charged over open ground.

If anyone is interested, the full rules will be posted as they're all finished and ready to play with!

The way it works; basically it is Warhammer fantasy deployment like the map suggests, but all attacks are to be story-format descriptions, no dice rolling it will all be that each unit takes it in turn to post their attacks and the opponent will defend.

If both RPers have that good a description then it will be down to dice rolls just for the troops, the Unique characters are not bound by dice-ruling but are always considered to retreat as soon as their unit is destroyed unless they specify that they died...

If they decide to stand and fight on their own, Then dice rolls will determine their fate depending on whether or not they are facing far greater number than just themselves...

that looks cool... and I didnt realise CoH was dice but i love hero games and i really wanna play DD...

Would like to start up a Smallville role play

Hi,
I would like to start up a Smallville role play. I do have a back story that I would like the characters to be in when we start the role play. The younger main characters are out of high school while the adults: Mr Kent, Mrs Kent, and Lionel Luthor live out their normal lives on the farm and Mr Luthors business deals.

Clark Kent will not be with Lana Lang. They will have separated on good terms and will remain friends. Clark will then be trying to live a normal life since he is in Metropolis University. He must get a job to continue going to school and applies at Daily Planet getting the job. He is then partnered with Lois Lane, who he already knows since Lois is Chloe's cousin.

Chloe Sullivan will still be working at Daily Planet as well, but thinks of Clark as a high school crush. Chloe is still the Nancy Drew figure and doesn't miss a beat. She knows about Clark Kents secret.

Lois Lane is the beautiful women Clark falls for. They are opposites, but opposites do attract. She is headstrong and speaks her mind giving her a lead in her job making it very hard to compete with Lois Lane. Since Lois and Clark are not together at the beginning of the role play Lois does go on dates when she does have time. Working for the Daily Planet is very demanding and she likes getting down to the source of what is going on in her job.

Lex Luthor is a very important in the modern world. He is a controlling man who likes to have things done his way. He still tries to figure out Clark Kents secret. He now owns all of his fathers estates and businesses. You don't want to get in Lex Luthors way because it could be fatal.

Pete Ross can be in the role play as well and go to school with Clark and Chloe and Lana as well. He will know Clarks secret and still be one of Clark Kent's best friends. He still loves Chloe Sullivan so they might get together.

Lana Lang is a beautiful girl of Smallville, Kansas. She goes to Metropolis College and is very intelligent. She knows Clark has a secret, but is tired of persuing it. She and Lex Luthor have been an item and only time will tell in the role play what will happen between them. She still loves Clark, but can't open to him if he won't be honest with her.

Okay, I think that covers up the characters in the role play. I will be playing Lois Lane. There are a few rules for the role play. THere will no be no hard cursing. Mild cursing will be fine. There also must be a nice number of lines of the posts meaning no one of two liners. I like to have 4-5 lines. I like the big posts. Your character must be approved and made-ups are allowed, but must be approved as well.

I believe that is all I have to say about the Smallville role play I would like to see started up.
