Anyone else to explore the War of the North?

Anyone at all? Takes place during the War of the Ring (Frodo's quest to Mount Doom) but focuses on the northern lands and the conflict between Sauron's armies and the Elves and Dwarves.

I am going to ask current ideas to justify to me why they are Hosted rather than Unhosted. There seems to be no obvious reasons.

ooohhhhhhh......... thats it.........
well, for one (i'm telling you about my rp idea), i'm the one with the storyline, and i don't feel very comfortable giving the story to anyone, so i need to be in charge to guide the others through the storyline (and no, that doesn't mean i leave them no choice as to what to do. there are "random events" (obviously planned by me, but random in the story) that the team must react to. it could be that one of the other team member has become trapped in a room or under debris. each person does what they thinks is the right thing, but depending on their choices, the story will change. if the majority of the tem abandon the person, that person may end up dying, but they also may end up surviving, and rejoining the team if one person from the team stays behind to help them)

second, this is a rp that can get VERY out of hand if there isn't someone to moderate it.

oh, and theevilgood, i didn't realise you were doing a metroid rp. I LOVE METROID!!! i'll join when you get the link up!

RPG: Shaman King: Quest for the omlet.

Story: Yoh, the almighty Shaman king, wants to make an omlet. He could use his shaman magic, but he wants to do it BY HIMSELF.

Characters:
shamans: Yoh, Lyserg, Hao, Jeanne, Rio, Len, Chocolove, HoroHoro, Tammy, Marco.
non-shaman: Anna, Jun, Morty.
enemy: Barney.
Lands: U.S.A(good) Izumo(good) China(bad) U.K(good).

Well 1.) I already have a set storyline based on from Rivendell all the way to Dol Guldor. Everything is already predetermined expect the minor choices the characters makes. 2.) It would get out of hand in the Unhosted section. 3.) In order to keep the RPG moving smoothly certain things need to happen at certain places or else everything will fall a part.

Sounds good. I was in an LotR RP on a different site, but the whole site's dead at the moment. I'll try to find my character from there and adapt him to this game, if it gets approved.

righto, that shaman king one sounds weird. why does he want an omlet?

was my Marvel game accepted?

Anyone else?

Mine's hosted, because I wanted to have a good amount of power over the entire RP. Granted, I kinda leave parts of it to other, but I believe it says in the Hosted games are ones in which one person rules over the RP, which, I do, mostly

so far i've got:
SpadeKing
FG725
n e 1 else?

oh, by the way, i also need permission to start a seperate thread, for people to join through. i'll need to "weave" their character into the story first

I'm interested! But I may be the only one.

not the only one, im interested too, but he hasn't finished building the site yet

i have a new RP idea

Realms of the Gods Rp

the idea is that the players are all gods on an enormous world, they will create their own civilisation that will evolve from small villages of peoples who are just learning about the world who will eventually get better technology, intelligence or battle skills with their own styles of buildings, weapons and beliefs, some may use swords and shields while others use magic or gunpowder ofcourse those who choose technologie will not be large or muscular and would be rather intelligent much like magic, the God who is the player can choose all this and develop their people until eventually the Gods can battle one another for ultimate supremacy for the idea to be the ONLY God of this world.

Rules:

usual rules apply

ofcourse you may be a God but you cannot be so powerful that you can destroy the entire world with a flick of your finger, you have to fair on your abilities and what you teach your creations so in a way NO GOD MODING, even if you are a god 😆

your people cannot get technology above gunpowder, for example, laser cannons and space cruisers are out of the question but nothing says you cannot use magic to create large war machines powered by such magic or steam tanks, boats or perhaps a special power source to allow futuristic objects, however the rule above does not allow an enormous magic powered weapon of mass destruction, or robots with magic lasers while other gods only have weak forces, so you must weary not to make your things too powerful

other than that i dont think there should be much more of a problem apart from you would have to actualy show your culture has learnt skills of technology or magic, you cannot have a steam tank with a magic wizard fireing from it, if you do try to meld both magic and technologie then your forces will be weaker in both aspects even if you do have both slightly at your command

If a player says you can attack them and you have a war then it will be decided fairly and in depth by me to decide the winner

Burning it sounds fun i'm in

thx 😄 .....well thats 1 any more 😕
