FYI: You dont have to know about Star Trek or SG-1 to play...they're the only races I could come up with at the time and more will be added once more characters get approved, if you have ideas for your characters I suggest you write them down and if you want to add a race to the list I've made...PM me 🙂
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Farscape RPG. The rules are the Farscape D6 Ruleset, with some modifications to create a story and allow for more balanced characters.
I've got a story set out for it, but it wouldn't start until late next month after I've gotten settled at Uni. So I just want to know if there's any interest for now, know roughly how many would be iinterested, so I can change the story and the rules to fit.
So far what I have is that the story will take place a cycle (year) after the end of the mini-series, with the players being captured mercs and their guards aboard a leviathon. The rest of the mercenary orginisation send in a special squad to kill you guys so you can't talk about some secrets that you know (or may not know you know). The guards will have to fight off the mercs, while the captured mercs will have to take over the ship, leaving with the guards in tow, who will be forced to work with you. The majority of the missions will be missions given to you in the uncharted territories, such as smuggling, robbing, general merc jobs in the farscape universe. Strung together by a story arc, in the way the series was - loosely. Eventually leading to a showdown with the merc orginisation that tried to kill you.
Each player will have individual "season objectives" to occumplish, as well as the individual "episode objectives"
Akira:The Alternate RP
It is 2019 A.D. 30 years after the third world war. Tokyo was destroyed and on an artificial island just to the east lies Neo Tokyo, a desolate, decaying city. Biker gangs run rampet and one kid, Tetsuo Shima, has changed the world. After running into a government experiment called #26, Tetsuo was taken by the government and experiemented on himself. He gained unbelievable physkic powers and is looking for the one called Akira. The only other surviving experiements, Takashi, Kyoko, and Masaru, are trying to kill Tetsuo before he destroys the world. His old friends, Kaneda and Kai, are trying to stop him from harming anyone else and a gang trying to stop the governmet experiements are helping Kaneda. This is where you come in. You are a member of a biker gang called the Underlings and have been loyal freinds with Kaneda and his gang, the Capsules. After Tetsuo goes rampet and Kaneda dissappears, you meet with Kai and devise a plan to find Kaneda and bring Tetsuo down. But there are the New Age World Renewal cultists and a rival biker gang called the Clowns to deal with too. (I'm basing this rp off the movie, not the manga.)

Then, after your gang invades a government area or kills a government agent, you can take their weapons. I will describe what kind of weapons they have later. The first 2 people to join the Clowns or the Underlings get better weapons because they will be the group second-in-commands.
Bio:Give a breif decription of your character, including DOB, parents, hometown, and history

For the Underlings, I want a small group of four or five, first come, first serve basis. For the Clowns, a limit of eight. And anyone else who want to join has to be a NAWR cultist unless they talk with me. I need one or two people to help me run this so if anyone is interested, please pm me.
