keep in mind folks, we do need SOME heroes.. Preferrably existing ones, but created is okay.

i dont know if this has been done, but: Metroid RP!

Make up a bounty hunter, then do missions to earn bounty and then buy new weapons, ships, ship parts, armour, armour upgrades, visors, morphs and shields. The idea is to make enough money to buy the Secret, a special item that grants the user/wearer/controler mystical powers. It was crafted by the chozo. Made ups are obviously allowed, and i will be using a made up. Samus is open. Inventory works using an 'atache case' system, with each item measuring so many 'square' the standard case is 10 square. Enemies are postioned at ranges, which dictae how you can attack them. Char sheet:

Name: (char name)

Age: (char age, followe by a / then the age this race usually lives to)

Race: (you can make up races, but existing races eg:- space pirates are allowed. Fed troopers count as a race)

Main Weapon: (for this, you can have: [Pistol, small] [Machine gun, rapid fire, medium] [shotgun, slow, spread, medium-large] [bazooka, collateral damage, large]

Weapon addition: (you can customize your wepoan at the very start, you get 10 credits to spend: [small, 10, reduces siz of weapon by 2square] [plasma, 5, does +1 damage] [bayonet, 5, cannot be used on large-massive weapons, allows 1 extra combat move that turn] [charge, 5, only can be used with plasma, reduces shoot moves to 1 and combat moves to 0, does +10 damage] [bigclip, 10, cannot stack with charge, increase clip by 15/battery by 50, increases size by 1square]0

forgive me if i have forgotten anything.

The ingame system will relly on a move limit. You have 1 turn every 3 days, so at midnight, you get another turn. You have the following limits.

Jump limit. (defines how many jumps the character can make)(double jumps require 3)(morphball jumps require 1)

Morph limit. (always an even number)(defines how many times you can morph and unmorph into your chosen form)

Shoot limit. (defines how many shots you can fire)(a weapon with the rapidfire addition triples this number, but only when firing at up to 2 targets)

Combat limit. (the number of punches/stabs/kicks/headbuts you can make)(target must be at pointblank range)

Grenade limit. (the number of grenades you carry)(you cannot hit an anemy with a grenade at distant range)(grenades require 1square in your inventory)

Atache limit. (the space you have in your inventory)(write the number of square taken followed by a / then the total number of square)

At the end of each move, the player writes out how much of each of theese they have. If it makes it easier, do all of them as a fraction. To save time, just write out the first letter of the limit.

again, forgive me if i have forgotten anything. I will ad more if intrest develops or as it comes to me.

oops, forgot to mention. i will be in charge, and i have the right to eliminate players in the game for breaking rules EG bashing, god modding, over use of swear words, clogging, uploading inaprpriate pictures, all that jazz. i will dictate when and where enemies arrive, and a description of most enemies will apear at the start, i control enemies and bosses.

you can get super mods, whcih tottaly change the item. so, like, there's the arm cannon mod, which doesnt take up any room in your inventory. Also, i have got the item sizes here:

tiny = 1square
small = 2square-4square
medium = 5square-8square
large = 9square-10square.

a tiny weapon does 1 damage
a small weapon does 3 damage
a medium weapon does 4 damage
a large weapon does 6 damage, but reduces all limits by 1, excluding shoot and combat.

So the most powerful weapon you can have at the beggining is the bazooka.

If a weapon has 2 sizes, then it means it can be either, being either the largest square in the lower size, or the smallest square in the larger size.

unless of vareying size, all weapons take up the lower square stated, excluding large, which is the larger.

grenades, for all intense and purposes, are purely a limit, and thus do not take up room in your inventory. they do 5 damage.

choot limit and ammo are not the same thing. as your shoot limit increases, this represents the speed of your chars finger. also, the bigclip upgrade doesnt increase clip size by 15, only 5/25 for energy weapons. The clip sizes are:

all combat weapons: infinite (tiny)
Pistol: 12 (small)
SMG: 24 (small-medium)
Shotgun: 6 (medium-large)
Bazooka: 1 (large)
Assault rifle: 30 (medium-large)
Sniper rifle: 5 (large)
Grenade launcher: subtracts from grenade limit, allows you to hit distant targets, but not horizon targets. (large)

For a wepaon with the plasma or laser upgradem square the number. Plasma is 30 credits, which means that it cannot be bought at the start. Lser is 25.

a wepon with the laser upgrade can penetrate 1 target.

reloading requires one post, which is used for things sich as closing enemies and bosses.

in a boss fight, the shoot limit is ignored, as the adreneline of the character begins to pump, put the trigger finger into over drive.

the to hit system works as follows:
i take a deck of cards consisting of the suit of clubs (minus the royals and the ace) and the suit of hearts. I shuffle them throuroughly. I then take the top card. If it is red, you hit, if it is black, you miss. I do this for each attack seperatley. If the card is a king, you hit a bulls eye, dealing +2 damage. If it is an ace, you hit a headshot, instantly killing the enemy. For each range after medium, i remove the set number of red cards, at random. For a character with the sharpshooter ability, and scoped weapons at a range of medium or less, i remove 2 black cards.

A weapon with the spread upgrade deals +1 damage at near-medium range, then -1 to hit at all subsequent ranges. cannot hit horizon targets.

a wepon with the scope upgrade will always use the same number of to hit cards.

the ranges are:
point blank: the only range at wich combat weapons can be used. you cannot use a large weapon at pointblank range. a medium weapon does +1 at pointblank range.
near: all weapons can hit near.
medium: all weapons can hit near.
far: -1 to hit.
distant: -2 to hit, and grenades cannot reach this far.
Horizon: -4 to hit. The enemy is not literaly on the horizon, but they are very far away.
closing: the enemy is running towards you. The enemy starts at a specifide distance. for each shot you fire, the enemy gets closer 1 range.

all players start with the following limits:

J: 3
M: 0
S: 10
C: 15
G: 0
A: /10.

Doesnt look like my Villains rp is going to happen..... 🙁. So, what say you all to an Avengers rp? Im thinking mostly older Avengers (Cap, iron man, giantman, Hawkeye) Newer additions would be cool too, like spidey and wolverine. Created chars are fine too, and the sheet would be as follows

Created villains are fine, and the creation sheet is the same as the hero one.

I think the issues here is that we have settings... but no idea about point or progression, which is what makes a good Hosted game. These ideas might be better Unhosted.

Guild Wars RPG.

It is 1070AE (after Exodus) and Ascalon is at war, fighting a double battle against both the human kingdoms of the Krytans and the Orrians in the Guild Wars, and the Charr invading from the North. The fight is not going well, but the Great Northern Wall always protects Ascalon from the worst of the threat.

However, the Wall is unable to protect Ascalon forever. The Charr are able to use a powerful ritual which calls fire and crystal meteors from the sky, known as "The Searing", destroying the Wall and turning Ascalon into a wasteland.

Two years later, Prince Rurik and his father King Adelbern, the leaders of Ascalon, fight a losing battle against continued assaults from the Charr. As the players fight through the wasteland helping where they can, they find the legendary horn Stormcaller, which is said to hold immense power against invaders of Ascalon. Rurik is able to use the Stormcaller to weaken the invading Charr and push them out of the capital, Rin. Rurik and Adelbern argue about the next move. Adelbern wants to fight off the Charr but Rurik, after seeing Rin's devastation, wants the people of Ascalon to flee across the Shiverpeaks to the safety of Kryta. For this traitorous sentiment the King exiles his son from Ascalon.

(This will be the setting for the first part of the RP. If this RP turns into a success, I will post a new one stating the setting of the next place and continue from there until we head into the next place, and repeat the same action until the RP finally ends.

You can either make your own character or take one of the existing ones that will last throughout the game.

Here is a list of the characters that last within the entire game and need filling out.

Aidan (age 32, Ranger): He was born in Borlis Pass (An area in the next RP version) on the way from Kryta to Ascalon. His mother died in childbirth, and he was raised by his huntsman father. Due to his upbringing he is adept with the bow and excellent at tracking. Aidan is perhaps the wisest out of the heroes but never feels the need to lecture the party unless absolutely necessary.

Brother Mhenlo (age 22, Monk): He is, for the most part, calm and composed, qualities he learned from his training as a monk in Cantha (A different continent). He does however have the tendency to deliberate when it comes to taking action, due to the conflicting views of his parents' patron deities (his mother was a priestess of Dwayna, the goddess of healing, and his father a priest of Balthazar, the god of war). He was born in Serenity Temple.

Cynn (age 20, Elementalist): She was born into nobility, but lost her parents when her home in the city of Surmia was incinerated by the Charr during the Searing. She was trapped under the rubble of her home for several days until a Charr looting party dug her out (who were promptly killed by the naturally magically talented Cynn). She is hot-tempered and fiercely independent. She is in love with Mhenlo and is overprotective of him.

Devona (age 24, Warrior): Her father, who died while fighting an Orrian guild when she was only a young girl, was a warrior in one of Ascalon's most influential guilds, Ascalon's Chosen. She dedicated her life to perfecting her skill with the hammer, in the hope of one day becoming a great warrior. The concept of honour is integral to Devona's personality and she would be willing to sacrifice her own life for the safety of her friends.

Eve (age 20): She is a female necromancer and a close friend of Mhenlo. She met the other heroes of Ascalon in the Catacombs under Ashford Abbey when they tracked a group of Charr there; however, she had already single-handedly wiped out the Charr and raised an undead army in their stead.

The professions for this RP as as follows:

Warrior: Can use Sword, Axe or Hammer (note: When wielding a hammer you cannot wield a shield)

Ranger: Can use a Bow, tame animals as pets, and use Wilderness Survival to attack or defend better.

Monk: Can use a Holy Staff/Rod (note: When wielding a rod you can wield an off-hand weapon such as a Protective Icon, etc.). Can use Smiting, Protecting, or Healing to protect, preserve, or deal damage in combat.

Elementalist: Can wield a Staff of their certain element or rod. Uses Air, Fire, Earth, and/or Water to obliterate enemies.

Mesmer: Can wield a staff of their attribute (Ex: Domination, Illusion, Inspiration or Fast Casting), and can use those skills to turn magic against it's user, summon imaginary phantoms to confuse the enemy, steal health or energy, and cast spells faster.

Necromancer: Can wield any staff using either Death, Blood, Curses, or Soul Reaping. Death magic can allow more damage and summon minions when enemy is defeated (Note: The minions lose health over time and lose more health the longer they are alive. There is a skill I will explain when the RP is approved on how to keep them alive for a certain time). Blood Magic steals or sacrifices health, Curses lays burdens on the enemy, and Soul Reaping steals energy once an opponent is defeated.)

RP Title: Of Pirates And Privateering

Setting: The Caribbean, in the decades following the "Golden Age of Piracy" (America has already had its successful revolution, and the general timeframe is 1780 - 1820. Obviously any sort of weapons or ship that existed prior would be allowed, with some leniency to ship types past 1820. No ironclads though, sorry kids.)

Well, nothing like a good war between empires to boost the rate of piracy on the high seas, right? It seems England and France are at each other's throats again, with both sides issuing Letters of Marque to any sea-goers who feel compelled to take up the legal form of piracy, with a forfeit of a portion of the take as the price to pay for legal protection.

Or, why bother with legalities? Take up piracy! After all, the Caribbean is a virtual hotspot for trading, and there's a wide array of targets: the French, English, Americans, the Dutch East India trading company... there's no shortage of potential targets!

Or why not sail for king and country? Join the navy of any side you wish, and fight off those pirate scum! The seas may be awash with gunsmoke and bloodshed, but there's no better time to make one's fortune on the high seas...

1.) No godmodding. Seriously, enough.

2.) Try to be at least REMOTELY historically accurate. Learn about your weapons, et cetera. Also? This is not Pirates of the Caribbean, or some magical RP of the Fantasy genre. No magic, no cursed amulets, and if I see anyone claim they're after Davy Jones' heart or hunting the Kraken I will throw you out so quick they'll hear the sonic boom in China. We clear?

3.) If you sign the Articles of Agreement aboard a pirate vessel (ESPECIALLY mine), you WILL accept the punishment for breaking any of the articles. If you refuse, it can be GMed upon your character by the acting Quartermaster. Quartermasters, you'd better behave as well, as you have the Captain looking over your shoulder. That, and you're as vulnerable to mutiny as anyone. Note: The ONLY exception to this rule, is if the player of the Captain and Quartermaster STATE that they will not GM the punishments out if you don't want to accept them. Odds are this will be rare though, but read carefully.

4.) Violence and gore? Fine. Feel the urge to show your affection in anything PAST making out? Do it over PMs or an IM service. Please. I *really* don't want to read through page after page full of smut, there's an entire internet full of it.

5.) If you have a ship, do everything required. Name it, say what class it is, how many guns, what type of guns, crew size, speed, etcetera. All of this stuff is actually pretty easy to find out, so it's not as hard as you think. Honest. I came up with my own ship in DETAIL in under an hour; and I knew nothing about sailing vessels (I'm in the Arizona desert for god's sake). The template for ships, as well as characters, will be posted up upon gaining approval for the RP.

6.) As host of the RP, I will not be micromanaging everything. However, I *will* be watching over you all to make sure you're not just dicking around. One of the huge pet peeves is female pirates. Did they exist? Yes. Did they flaunt the fact that they were women? Rarely. It just wasn't smart; especially since they were on a ship filled with men who hadn't SEEN a woman for months. You can figure out why that'd be bad.

7.) BIGGEST PET PEEVE OF ALL: Contrary to what's been picked up as "fact" by popular culture, pirates were not drunks. In fact, one of the "Intolerable" behaviors aboard the ship or in port was drunkenness. Think about it folks: These people are wanted men. They are on something as complex as a large sailing vessel, and may need to spring to action at a moments notice. Odds are, you would be given the lash 39 times on bare back as a LENIENT punishment. This applied to crews of Naval and Privateer ships as well.

I'm up for a nice realistic piracy RP...

I think we've all forgotten a vital part of most of our childhoods. Nintendo. Too long has it been since any classic nintendo character has been featured as prominently as other videogame characters, aside from the over-used Mario. I'd personally like to start up a classic nintendo/supernintendo based roleplay. NINTENDO WARS

premis is this: Bowser, King K Rool, Gannon, and Doctor Wiley have joined forces to take over the earth. Sadly, they were successful. Doctor Wileys scientific genius coupled with the sorcery of gannon, and the vast kremlin and koopa armies of K Rool and Bowser proved to be too much for the nintendo heroes.
Forced underground, the heroes must join forces to bring down their old enemies once and for all.

In order to keep things as they should be, created characters won't be allowed. You have your choices from any of the origional Mario family, DK family, Zelda family, Megaman family, and so on. I'll take first pick of my char if the game gets approved. Sound good?
