Someone go steal it from Nintendo & mail it to me. 😛

And if you wanted to use the left shoulder button and the Z button on the back?

Thumb on analog, middle finger on trigger, index on shoulder.

That's a pretty retarded way to hold a controller.

They should have removed the grip under the d-pad, so you could wrap your palm around that part of the controller.

Take it up with the designer.

Well it's a little late for that.

The revolution controller is gonna cut into third party support alot. I understand that most people who are gonna buy a Nintendo machine are getting it for the first party games, but most designers aren't gonna be too hot about making one game for the PS3 and Xbox360, and then making one with an entirely different controll scheme for the Revolution.

lol, I don't know how I didn't notice this before...

The funny thing is that alot of the bigger 3rd party developers and companies are actually intrigued about designging for the Revolution.

I do hate it, but I also work at a job I hate, and I hate how college drives me nuts, but I do them anyway. So why not try a controller I hate.

It will not take long for the other systems to take a similar controller. All the systems take one thing or another from each other and I do not think that this will be any different.

Yeah. I suggest letting it die.

But the comment means nothing because what your actually saying is called a first person shooter.
Whats wrong of having a FPS that allows you to aim realistically instead of auto aim?

Yeah, I know it is a good idea, I think your misunderstanding me. Im not calling a FPS using a lightgun a bad idea, Im saying that Gun Survivor WASNT a FPS. Gun Survivor was the game that played like a light gun shooter where you just moved around the area, and then stopped to shoot. Im not saying a FPS using the controller will be like a lightgun game.

Jargon343, you can see this in action in the film "the wizard"(not sure if its 'the' but i more likely. i think its starred beau bridges and fred savage about gaming, and the power glove made a showing. as did super mario bros 3 for the nes.

Yeah, I saw it. I also owned a powerglove when I was a kid. It was more useful for pretending to be robocop than for playing games though (I think I eventually cut the cord off of it actually).

indeed.. soon we'll see sony brag about making a motion sensor controller.. /sigh

I hope for metroid prime 3 they let you navigate samus' suit system.. something really interactive.. like how she switches weapons by changing her hands shape..

There have been motion sensetive controllers out for a long time now on the PC. They're pretty much useless except for flight sims where you can use the motion detection as rudders, but even then a joystick is better.

That's an interesting way of looking at things. 😛

I think it will be interesting to see what the controller can do. Weather I like it or not.

just remember who gave us shoulder buttons.

I personally like buttons. 😬
