It seems that our fair GM (X-MenFan87) has returned...Liquid_Fire is helping us out with a new storyline but we'll see how that goes.
We should have this thing up and running within the next week at the very latest.

The most recent fight with Magneto left the X-men crippled, and revealed to the public. And Magneto, along with his forces, either destroyed, or kept in isolated confinement deep within the quarantine zone. With people still split on the “mutant” problem, these evolved beings are forced to hide, to live their lives in the shadows away from the prying eyes of humanity. The X-men included. For now, they still reside inside Xavier’s mansion. It is a different building, in the northern reaches of the United States, on a lakeside in a mountain range. However, Xavier influenced it greatly, and the mansion was created to be a near exact replica of the other, the only difference would be changes in secret or critical areas, so the enemy cannot use the information of the previous.
The X-men, after defeating Magneto, and his lackeys, regrouped at the new mansion, and under Xavier’s wise council, rebuilt their team. Gathering to them all those that had been separated, searching the far corners of the world to bolster their forces. And as always, their home remains as a refuge for all those, “gifted.” But this time, it must be kept safe, and secret. Despite the setback of advertising, the X-men, and their allies, have brought supernatural beings from all corners of the world.
For now, the X-men have all retreated to the mansion, so that they may agree on their future, and the future of their people. The threat of darker beings seems to have lessened to the point where the government, and the newly founded X-Con Project can take care of them. However, known to no one, a dark ominous shadow is making its way toward Earth from places beyond. The harbingers and vanguard of this dark force are already here, and have already left a few of Earths superheroes missing, trapped and crippled where no one should find them. Because no one who has confronted them has escaped, despite the missing heroes, there is no other sign, and thus their presence kept secret. However the X-men, who of course know of the few missing heroes, are concerned. They know there is something bigger going on, and that it will happen soon. The ultimate goal will be to stop it, but for now, they must only find out what it is.
The Quarantine Zone – Top-secret military sector in the middle of the deserts in Northern Africa, under the control of the United States. Spanning nearly a hundred cubic miles, and guarded by almost ten thousand men and women of the army, it’s a cell for those too powerful to be kept anywhere else, a cell for the super powered beings of the world. Each mutant has his own building. Each building with defence systems and elements made to match the mutant’s power, down to the guards weapon, armour, and ordinance. But a prison is not all that this sector is, it’s the breeding ground for a join American/Russian genetic experiment. X-Construct.
X-Con – Military program code-named X-Con. Focused on genetic enhancement, or artificial creation of human beings to technologically result in manufactured and loyal mutants. So far all they have done is create human beings with minor enhancements, something like a smaller army, but they have bigger plans. It is located under Omega level guard, in the very center and two miles under the Quarantine Zone. The project was started upon discover and autopsy of an extraterrestrial life form. A being with powers that were “supernatural.” This creature was a base for study and experimentation, and a key part in successfully enhancing human beings. (X-Con will play a huge part in the storyline, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.)
OOC: Well that's my storyline, a bit brief but most of you dont want to read ten pages, and my storylines are developed and complex. Your only getting the most simplistic levels of it. As far as X-con goes, it's onlya brief run down on the two main reasons of the project, I plan to expand. Specifically on the alien they took and studied.
Note: It should be noted that the storyline was made to fit the power levels of the mutants in the X-men TV shows. Not the powers they possesed at their golden age where Cyclops could blast a hole through a mountain.

It is also thought that if wounded, the animal's pain and subsiquent death may lead to that of Tattoo's also.

Personality:
Quite laid back, it's not that Tattoo doesn't take things seriously it's just that until he actually feels something (like a surge of wanton-needs etc) he will not really be at a rush to get anything done.
A fan of casual excersise and home cooking, it's a wonder that he keeps in the amazing shape he's constantly in despite the physical excertion of his powers.
Background:
Having awoken in a small village outside the larger city of Saitama, Japan some 20 years previously. 'Tattoo' as named by the villagers had been bought in out of a ravaging storm and cared for by a young homeless woman who'd taken pity upon him.
Not really understanding where he was, or for that matter...who he was, Tattoo stayed in the village working on the fields with the rest of the villagers as a way to repay the kindness of the general populace.
It wasn't until almost a month later that the dreams began, short sharp flashes in the deep dark that was his minds current state. Convulsing from the pain, Tattoo soon came to realise that his tattoos having a completely separate power of their own would materialise from his mortal skin and take a life of their own.
Completely unaware to this fact, the tattoos of his body wreaked havok upon the village.
The gruesome truth of it all was far too difficult for Tattoo to deal with, so he fled quite quickly into the surrounding forests not to be seen by a single soul for months on end.
Now back in civilisation, Tattoo has taken to adjusting quite well. In control of the forces that slaughtered the kind people of the village, he seeks a refuge to learn more of his past and who he truly is.
Above all, why this happened to a simple man like him.
