It'll be a close race between M$ and Nintendo. Both are very different from each other too which makes it more interesting. I'm going to have both. droolio

Well, I think Sony will still probably sell more than Nintendo, but the gap between Nintendo and the other systems will be smaller than the last generation.

I mean, the PS3 is only $100 more than the premium 360 package, and people have a big hardon for some of the PS3 exclusive games coming out, I think a lot of people will spill the extra 100 beans for their favorite system.

Me being a video game whore that I am, I'll probably end up getting all the systems at some point or another. I expect the PS3 to be the last one I get though.

Omg the Sony whores at school ahhhhh, they talk the most trash, ahhh fanboys I hate them but yeah I will have all 3 intime....360 for halo 3, ninja gaiden 2,, Gears of war..>Ps3 for MGS4...and maybe God of war 3 since 2 is on ps2.....Nintendo for Super Smash bros 3!!!! that alone will make me get the wholething. So far I only Have 360 since the rest didn't come out!!

I already believe that Nintendo will have the better, more original games. I couldn't care less if it breaks sale records or if I'm the only one who buys it. Though I grow increasingly disturbed that people are placing massive emphasis on what system will sell more.

I know someone who could easily contend for the title of biggest corporate whore when it comes to ANY machine and any console. Literally buys everything. Impressed by anything. That said:

God of War 3? Jeez, Sony are pushing the innovation envelope aren't they?

If the gaming world needs more of anything, it's overrated, generically designed, hack-n-slash walk-alongs. Sony fans will, for the most part, buy anything. Shine up an old game with new graphics and an extra combo and you've got a hot seller.

You should care if you're the only one who buys it, if that's the case you'll never be able to play it because it will lose all support, and Nintendo will die and not be able to make anymore systems ever again.

That's why people care about this stuff, because the more popular a system is, the more money they get, and they can put that money into making more, and better games and will in turn get more third party support.

A game doesn't gain fame and top sales for having pretty graphics.

Looks like it might be a bit small for most people to hold comfortably...I have small hands though so it won't be a problem for me.

As I just told Ritoshi, if it's too small there will no doubt be 3rd party controls that will be a bit bigger and probably a different overall shape too.

Is the the OFFICIAL controller? It looks fake, IMO. No way Nintendo would go with that style. I thought they had a shell adapter a la Gamecube design.

That's true. God of War gained fame because "critics" praised it and all the good followers thought "Shit, if I don't like this, I must have bad taste." despite all of it's jagged graphics and Streets of Rage-goes-3D gameplay.

My point being that the tale of The Emperor's New Clothes is never more prominent than in the gaming industry.
