How do you do you become a mod Lana?

I've been around a long time, I know my stuff, and I'm known around the site.

Put short, I was asked to mod by the site admin, which is the only way you get to be a mod.

Oh I kind of want to be the mod of the G4 forums to suspend melegg the guy that suspended me from the G4 forums for month and is that the only way to be a mod there is no other way?
