Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

Plus I hardly expect people mature enough to get into E3 to display the grammar of a 5-year-old or a halfevilraiden.

The industry, the developers, and most of the gamers are against the expensive console. That's that.

The Wii's controls are, just about unanimously, intuitive and easy to learn. How hard can it be to point at something? Halfevilraiden, can you point to your forehead?

for a gaming website, they sure didn't pay attention to the results of the last E3

I bet they receive a mysterious check from an electronics company whose name starts with an "S" and ends with a "Y." (For the fanboys that need a little more help, the letters in between are "O-N"😉

Analysts at the firm have noticeably less faith in the success of the Nintendo Wii, which is expected to retail for less than US$250 and is taking a markedly different approach to the next-gen race - favouring innovation and gameplay over high processing power and cinematic visuals.

They say "innovation and gameplay" like that's a bad thing. These analysts don't care about games, or they'd WANT companies to favor gameplay.

I'm gonna get a Wii for my little brother's birthday. He'll probably destroy everything in the house waving that thing around though...

So I hear the "exploding batteries" for Dell Laptops is gonna set Sony back about 438 million dollars....

Yep, along with the "I'm going to present my opinion as fact, with no proof whatsoever, yet demand that everyone provides facts to back up any opinion that's not in line with my own." 😛

The next idiotic debating tactic is insulting the opponent's opinion when you can't support your own, and insulting your opponent him/herself when you're backed into a corner.
