Their posting tendencies are quite different (okay, I know what you're saying...someone could post that way for one 'character' and a different way for the other - but I'm going to disregard that theory).

Kharma's posts tend to be related more on news articles that have been recent current events rather than personal opinions, BUT...I'd still take PVS any day of the week in an all-out verbal dogfight.

Agreed, PVS lays the smack down alot harder than I would ever dare to take it. Whereas I don't mind a debate, he seems to be an artisit in the medium of tearing a person a new one.
