Bubba Nosferatu - On Hold!

Movies Online has reported that according to Cinematical, at the recent NYC Horror Film Festival, Don Coscarelli (Director Bubba Ho-Tep) has confirmed that the sequel "Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires is not moving forward.

As for the rumored sequel to Bubba Ho-Tep, Coscarelli stated that he would love to return to the story, and indicated that Bruce was “rarin’ to go again.”

Unfortunately, the studio that funded Bubba Ho-Tep is no longer in existence, so money needs to be found elsewhere if a sequel is to ever happen.

Yes, that would be a problem. Hopefully Don Coscarelli can get the funding he needs from another studio and get Bruce Campbell back on the big screen again as Elvis again.

Bubba Ho-Tep was great, I love it. A sequel, I'm not sure where they can go with that. Bruce Campbell thinks he's Johnny Cash?

Elvis has left the building.

I think he would still be Elvis. Id like to see a sequel. I like the cartoon / Comic Book style of Horror.

Elvis died at the end of Bubba Ho-Tep though.

Oh, I'm sorry. A lot of people on the horror forum have seen it so I didn't bother.

Spoiler:
Pamela Voorhees dies at the end of Friday the 13th
😛

Bruce Campbell also confirms that this film is to be made but that they are just waiting for funding.

Bubba Ho-Tep is based on an excellent short story. There is not Bubba Nosferatu.

This wreaks of Exorcist II.

dude, the two guys do die at the end, I'm positive! But if I'm wrong, then thats cool. I didn't want them to die; yet its obvious JFK(is that who he thinks he is?) dies.

I thought it was obvious that they both died.

Anyway, I heard rumors now that Bubba Nosferatu is going to be a prequel.

oh, well then if its a prequel, then they both pretty much died. Yet, Bubba Nosferatu sounds like fun! I hope it comes out!

It's hard to imagine how a prequel can flow smoothly into Bubba Ho-Tep. Would Bruce Campbell's character be acting the way he was in the movie if he had just fought off a vampire? Why would he be skeptical at first about the thought of a mummy stealing souls from retired folk if he had dealt with vampires in the past?

hmmm, good point. But nonetheless, I'd still like to see it, even if it didn't fit with the original story that well.

Of course, me too. In my mind, Bruce Campbell can do no wrong.

lol! true! I was gonna watch this one movie called something like, "The Man With Two Brains", I didn't watch it, but I should have. Its got Bruce Campbell in it. Have you seen it?

The Man with Two Brains is a Steve Martin movie. I believe you're talking about The Man with the Screaming Brain, which Bruce Campbell wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. Yes, I own it. It's a very good B movie, IMO. It's hilarious and has a great cast including Stacy Keach and Ted Raimi as a scientist and his assistant with very bad Russian accents. 😂

Ah yeah! Thats what it is! The screaming brains! Yeah, I've seen the Steve Martin movie, but I just got the names switched around.

BUBBA 2 CONFIRMED!
