Exactly. That's not too hard to understand. If you actually read the issue, they have Hal turn BACK into Parallax at the end of it which leads up to his sacrifice in The Final Night. You're giving Supes too much credit thinking he would last 4 pages with Parallax.

that is parallex, im not that dum, hes not at full power, understood, but he still is parallex, and he still is MAD, and also parallex DID have the ring on even in his most powerful form, normal gl's are not on par with surfer in my oppinion both powerwise and flexibility wise.

Tell you what. When Superman proves to me he can destroy planets on a whim, contain supernovas, and contain universe destroying energy I'll think about putting him on Green Lantern's level. 🙂

u know as well as everyone else that every character has high and low showings, if were considering all that gl bull cannon than maybe we should consider these feats as cannon too

supes
absorbed a warhead blast that could destroy an entire galaxy
defeated the entire gl corp single handedly movin faster than THOUGHT
defeated doomsday who also defeated the entire gl corp
can destroy the earth in a single punch
defeated lobo a few times who has shown to be able to defeat gods

and lets also throw in all the precrisis feats while were at it

precrisis supes
could travel faster than light and time travel
could destroy entire solar systems
was in TOUCH mentally with the entire universe and beyond
could punch through dimensions

btw oa being destroyed, wasnt that gl OVERLOADING oa's power batteries?

I'm aware Supes absorbed the Magedon bomb. Kyle contained a Big Bang. I wonder which feat is greater. 😉

I'm aware he beat Doomsday, after getting killed himself of course. Doomsday adapted to the Oan energy long ago when he came up against some scrub ring wielder just as he is now adapted to Superman. Superman can't lace Doomsday's boots.

I'd love to see you prove Supes can destroy Earth with a punch. Then again, John Stewart destroyed a planet on accident, Kyle destroyed Oa and here we have Vril Dox telling Kyle he can without a doubt level planets.

I know you'll keep bringing up Red Son but the difference is Red Son is a non canon Elseworld tale which some say is based on the Pre Crisis Supes. All these GL feats are firmly in the canon category. They happened.

Bringing up Pre-Crisis feats? GL's can go faster than light too but nice show of desperation. Guess I'll go ahead and whip out the Ion scans. 😆

Face it, Green Lantern = Herald level. Feats prove it. Superman is a high end brick with heat vision.

ive heard a lotof fanboy talk ion, n with my "ahem" years of expirience, im gonna say that ur undoubtedly a silly fanboy.

btw, i dont CARE if GL is better than supes im not exactly a superman FAN myself let alone be DESPERATE for him to win. i was just making a valid point. superman is generally more powerful than any green lantern. and he proved it by defeating the entire gl corp once. flash has also gotten the better of many gl's before because of their weakness to have a HUMAN mind. i do know that photon will easily take on both hal and kyle.

How so when GL's can easily take advantage of any of Supes weaknesses? Why does everyone agree that Surfer can beat Supes by draining his solar energy and hitting him with kryptonite while GL's who have control over the EM spectrum and can also blast K-nite radiation can't beat him just the same?

I am not denying that the GLs can do that stuff.

But when Kyle created K-nite one time he had to have Orion, WonderWoman, BigBarda and others to hold Superman down while he made the K-nite.

Superman is not gonna stand there and let him do that stuff.

And by far, the only GL that has the Auto-Reaction ring workin well is only HAL !!!

If Big Barda was around I'm guessing this was during Kyle's rookie time. Obviously it wouldn't be easy for him. When someone stole Hal Jordan's ring he created K-nite and would have killed Supes if Hal didn't save him.

Really? During Sacrifice John had his ring set to fire on anyone who moved over Mach speeds. GL's auto shields have protected them from planets exploding and suns going nova and they were not KO'd. In a non PIS environment, speed blitz wouldn't work.

People need to get off Hal's nuts and realize he isn't the only one with skill. All of the Big 5 are around the same area.

Actually that is not true. John can set his ring on auto-fire/protect if he needs to.

Why does Superman end up in almost all of the debates in here?
