The Judgment of Celestial: Grievous Cry
Chapter I
Dream
The land thrives from Celestial Energy; the Celestial Energy gives life to plants, animals, and even people. Cities thrive from Celestial Energy as a power source. The greedy company, Zera Corporation, consumes the most of this energy and the planet is slowly withering away. Rumor speaks of a land with endless Celestial Energy called Avalon. Now Zera Corp. searches far and wide spending millions of dollars to find this legendary land.
In the grand city of Gandra, which was once a mighty fortress during the War of the Pendant but now Gandra is the biggest city and is also the most high-tech, in the slums of this city sits a bar called Destined. The bar is a small one story building. Inside are four tables with four chairs surrounding them and a bar with six stools parallel with the bar. A door sits behind the bar which has a desk with a chair and a small one person bed.
On the counter a phone rings and Destinie, owner of the bar, answers. Destinie stroked her fingers through her long black hair for the day was long and she grew tired.
‘Hello?’ she asked sitting down on a stool. All she had on at the moment was a white t-shirt, red short shorts, and red socks. Destinie yawned waiting for an answer.
‘Is this Destinie Silvers?’ a deep voice asked.
‘This is she,’ Destinie responded.
‘I have something that may interest you,’ the voice said and then paused for a moment before continuing, ‘something that you could say will change your life...for ever.’
‘Whatever it is, I’m not buying,’ Destinie replied to the strange voice.
‘But malady, I am not selling anything. This is a one time chance so if you wish to learn more come down to the church at the corner of Lincoln and Willcolt,’ and at that moment the man hanged up the phone. Destinie was frozen for a moment before slowly putting the phone back. Destinie ran into her room and shut the door.
Destinie threw on a brown vest over the t-shirt and replaced her shorts with a brown skirt. She threw on some brown cowboy boots that came up to her knees and closed down the bar. She wandered down the ruined streets heading for the church she rarely visits anymore since the
