The Judgment of Celestial: Grievous Cry

Chapter I
Dream

The land thrives from Celestial Energy; the Celestial Energy gives life to plants, animals, and even people. Cities thrive from Celestial Energy as a power source. The greedy company, Zera Corporation, consumes the most of this energy and the planet is slowly withering away. Rumor speaks of a land with endless Celestial Energy called Avalon. Now Zera Corp. searches far and wide spending millions of dollars to find this legendary land.

In the grand city of Gandra, which was once a mighty fortress during the War of the Pendant but now Gandra is the biggest city and is also the most high-tech, in the slums of this city sits a bar called Destined. The bar is a small one story building. Inside are four tables with four chairs surrounding them and a bar with six stools parallel with the bar. A door sits behind the bar which has a desk with a chair and a small one person bed.
On the counter a phone rings and Destinie, owner of the bar, answers. Destinie stroked her fingers through her long black hair for the day was long and she grew tired.
‘Hello?’ she asked sitting down on a stool. All she had on at the moment was a white t-shirt, red short shorts, and red socks. Destinie yawned waiting for an answer.
‘Is this Destinie Silvers?’ a deep voice asked.
‘This is she,’ Destinie responded.
‘I have something that may interest you,’ the voice said and then paused for a moment before continuing, ‘something that you could say will change your life...for ever.’
‘Whatever it is, I’m not buying,’ Destinie replied to the strange voice.
‘But malady, I am not selling anything. This is a one time chance so if you wish to learn more come down to the church at the corner of Lincoln and Willcolt,’ and at that moment the man hanged up the phone. Destinie was frozen for a moment before slowly putting the phone back. Destinie ran into her room and shut the door.
Destinie threw on a brown vest over the t-shirt and replaced her shorts with a brown skirt. She threw on some brown cowboy boots that came up to her knees and closed down the bar. She wandered down the ruined streets heading for the church she rarely visits anymore since the

fire burnt most of it down. While she was walking, Destinie tied her hair up into a ponytail held by a red ribbon.
The church appeared to be desecrated for no one could be seen in it or around it. The building wasn¡¦t badly damaged but the church doorways were torn down. Destinie walked up the stoop and through the door. The doorways leading to the sanctuary were on her right side and the floor was dirty and covered in trash.
Destinie threw open the doors and entered the sanctuary which wasn¡¦t too torn up. A hooded man in black sat in the front row center. He paid no attention to her. Destinie walked up and sat down next to him.
¡¥What is this...?¡¦ Destinie tried to ask him a question but he stopped her. She noticed his head was bowed and his eyes were closed. After a few moments he opened his eyes and looked at her.
¡¥Destinie, so we finally meet. My name is Paris,¡¦ he said to her standing up and walking towards the alter. ¡¥I¡¦m glade you decided to come her after all for it could not be the same without you.¡¦
¡¥What is it that you want?¡¦ Destinie asked. At once Paris turned and faced her and threw off his hood. His hair was short and white with a scar over his left eye. Both his eyes were green and appeared to glow a little.
¡¥What ever do you mean? It isn¡¦t what I want, it is what Diablen wants!¡¦ Paris shouted raising his head to look at the ceiling. Destinie got up and started to leave but two soldiers blocked her path. ¡¥I¡¦m afraid that you will not be leaving Ms. Silvers.¡¦
¡¥Psycho,¡¦ Destinie said. Paris walked towards her and stopped a few feet away and smiled. The soldiers were wearing helmets with black visors so you couldn¡¦t see their face. They wore thick dark blue armor on their torso, shoulders, wrists, legs, arms, and feet and carried machine guns. Paris back handed Destinie across the face and she stepped back. The soldiers placed their hand on her shoulders.
¡¥Take her away,¡¦ Paris said and at once the guards pulled her out of the church. Paris laughed as he looked around the sanctuary and then headed out following the guards with the marking ƒÉƒnon their torso area. Destinie blacked out.
Destinie woke up in a dark dungeon chained to the wall by her wrists. She appeared to have been untouched but felt sick to her stomach. Her eyes wandered back and forth looking at the dungeon. A small barred window was above her, about three feet or so and in front of her was the only doorway out with a small barred window near the top.
Destinie struggled to break free but to no avail. She thought over and over again on how this could have happened but she saw no answer. The door opened and in came an old man, bolding at the top wearing thick glasses and in a white lab coat.
