no..the only crucial mistake he did was trying to teach Scotland a new playing system away from kick & rush....but that's the problem with all the UK teams..wether it's Scotland, England or Ireland..whenever you realise that your tactic fails, you fall back onto kick & rush and that's a backdated system...
and that's why either England, Scotland or Ireland will never win a prestigeous championship whatsoever..

Berti Vogts taught us nothing. All we got from him was two and a half years of embarrassing draws and humiliating defeats.
He had the time to adapt but didn't, and now we are doing better without him.
