"Out my way..." says the man, busily. He takes a second glance at the blood on your jacket, and then moves on.

Security teams are beginning to sweep through the docking area...

GL said he looks on the net to see what the fans talk about the movies+other things

he will never use your ideas or anything

he went on the net while he was takin a break from writing the script!

What got me is thae way that Darth Maul, the super-stylish, wish-he-had-more-screen time siper villain, captures everyone's hearts, everyone loves him...

And yet after he'skilled poor old Qui-Gon, you end up rooting for Obi-Wan to win the fight afterwards, even though you've barely seen any of him before either

That's good emotional film making for you.

And how come people always lay into Obi-Wan for cocking up, but always have hero worship for Yoda, who was responsbile as well? Where's your "War Makes not One Great" policy NOW, little green guy!

I see him as a very militeristic father. Someone who cares a great deal about his son and would do anything for him, but who also is very strict and won't spoil his son in the least bit.

This may have already been discussed, but out of Episode 2 and Episode 3, which do you assume will be the better of the two?
And, will be good enough to beat Empire Strikes Back? (or whatever your previous favourite SW film was)
I'm looking forward to the darkness of Episode 3, although something tells me its climax/conclusion might not be very exciting or satisfying. The cliffhangar at the end of Episode 2 will be superb (I hope).
Still, Episode 3 I think will be best of the prequel trilogy (if not the entire saga)

UBH is the exception, of course. Xizor has been kind enough to grace my role-play forum, and you'll be surprrised what you can find out about a person there...

So that scene would be pointless then.

I just got the new Aurra Sing figure and it had an info booklet-type thing in it. So I thought I'd share some of this knowledge:

____________________________________________________________
"Trained by the rogue Jedi, the Dark Woman, this former Jedi apprentice is shrouded in as much mystery as her former master.

Claiming to have been sold to the Sennex Pirates by the Dark Woman, Aurra was later purchased by Walla the Hutt as a dancing girl. Realizing she would be more valuable as a killer than as a pleasure slave, Walla sent her to be trained as an assassin by the Anzati.

Aurra Sing now employs her prowess and training as a bounty hunter. She despises Jedi and derives pleasure from stalking Force-sensitive prey. Aurra carries a trophy case of several lightsabres as a testament to her skill"
____________________________________________________________

This would explain why she was at the podrace in Ep1 (watch her, she sees all the others fly past but only follows anakin's pod). She must be onto something in Ep1-probably Palpy's payroll.

I don't know whether you all knew this from the DH comics and stuff, but it's for people like me who don't read them.

Yeah, its something we all knew....I think anyways. Anyhoo, I am still wondering why Lucas put her in there at the last moment. She has to serve some sort of purpose in the next two films.

I'd say it was just a bit odd just to throw her in, but I suppose, what with all the fuss about her, it's easy to forget that she was probably just another 'colourful' charatcer...

What I really don't understand is why she would be out bounty hunting on Tatooine. I was under the impression, from what I'd read, that the Tatooine scenes would only see the introduction of C3PO and the Lars family and death of Shmi and a few Tusken Raiders. I don't see why Darth Sidious/Tyrannus would know of Padme or Anakin being there and have bounty hunters waiting for them.

I will go see any crappy movie just to catch the trailer. In fact I would do just about anything. 😈

Sidious probably had his own master, but they didnt find the time right to reveal themselves, before Sidious became a master with his own apprentice.

Oh I know, I was leaping on you. Just that great minds think alike. 😄

Not sure how many people would do it. I know that Dim thought it was good idea, and I think Raz did too.

Maybe we should look at doing something. Still a long way to go yet though.
