Not only does it lead to New Cross (and Whitechapel, which is also lovely, and Wapping; where would we be without Wapping??!) BUT the tube drivers are the friendliest people ever! Example number 1: the nice driver who always says "whoever you are, whereever you're going, whatever you're doing, have a lovely time" and number 2: The driver last night who was about to depart, closing the doors and everything and then opened them again to let me on! Hurrah! Ok now I am going to do something productive with my time and not waste my life on Facebook (I'm also going to get on the aforementioned East London Line, hurrah!)

yess!! i love that nice train driver who wishes everyone a nice day, whoever they are, wherever they etc etc!! (i thoguht i imagined it when he said that).
plus, the seats on the train have heaters which keep you warm always....
