I think Pan's Labyrinth is quite dark, definitely not a kid's movie. Hard Candy is quite a good thriller.
There is quite a good German thriller called Antibodies. That's quite good.
I wanna see the horror movie Pulse, I hear that's pretty good as well.

Pulse - with Boone in it??? I saw it already.. its worth a watch but its not great

I loved the movie Hard Candy... saw that in the theater about a yr ago now
