ok that was my experience there -- and I went to see a doctor about 3 different times

depends whats wrong with you, if you are just feeling sick you can go to the chemist and they can tell you whats wrong, which i dont think they can do in the states, well they didnt when i was last there...i dont think they are alowed

Then you get to copay for meds if you have insurance, it's alot of money.

Use urgent care clinics if it's not a "true" emergency.

I would never go to the ER unless I was dying...

the charge for ER is outrageous! ... one of my friends went there because she had bronchitis (sp?) and she now has a $3,000 bill

the ensurace paid it but they wanted us to pay about $5000 but they gave in and paid all of it
