It has become so popular that it has become a genericized trademark because the verb to tippex means to erase something

Yeah, for quite a few reasons.
1. It's price.
2. Has a camera, but no zoom and no way to take video.
3. It has the web, but no IM.
4. No picture messaging.
5. It's on EDGE, instead of 3G, meaning web data is as slow as dog shit to load.
6. Only available on AT&T.
7. It's also an iPod, but you can't set a song from it to be your ringtone.
8. It has web capabilities, but you can't download anything from the web.
9. It smudges really easily.
10. They keyboard is too small and is awkward to work with.
11. It's a thief magnet.
12. No removable battery. Can't switch it out on the go when you absolutely need to.
There's more complaints, these are just the main ones.
