Yeah in the US. But I already posted a plain bar of fudge. Seeing as how you quoted Wiki (saying fudge was "flavoured" with cocoa) I'm guessing you read the rest of the page saying this was an American term.
Wiki: Fudge" in the U.S. is usually understood to be chocolate.
Plus it says it might have been invented in America, but it was also used in Russia. Maybe before.
