well we have something here called AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) and in instruments (and some dancing) you do from grades 1-8 (easiest to hardest) then do your 2 exam thing called your AMUS (if you do that you're a prodigy)
well i just got High distinction on my grade 6 and am currently workin on grade 7 and its gay 😬
