I don't even know why mine isn't working. It just started making weird noises one day and doesn't play any form of CD or DVD anymore. A bit annoying.

they tend to become "blind" after a while...maybe the laser lense is smeared...the cheapest solution for you would be the purchase of a so called cleaning disc...srug
