After seeing this much-hyped movie( I must admit I was hyped too!), and after the audience reaction, I am 100% sure that the people who have left positive reviews are working for the movie studio, or they are all 8th graders in school. This movie had promise, but that's all.
If you have seen the many previews, you have seen the movie, in fact some of the scenes in the previews were not even in the movie, what a drag. The famous 'ROARING SOUND" that you here in the previews isnt even in the movie, in fact the look of the monsetr changes from it's first appearance. I could go on, but why, Hollywood has been a BIG DISSAPPOIONTMENTfor years now, the downward spiral continues. The entire audience loudly booed the movie at its conclusion
what does that tell you, and it was a school night. Save your money, play with the kids, talk to your wife, just stay away from Cloverfield, you will be glad you did!
