I elaborated on it, and it relates. If you are a fan of lets say, Allen Iverson, wouldnt his personality affect how you looked at him?

I have no idea who Alan Ivaslkhkfsdvjsdhf is, I don't care about sports much or how sportsmen look like [though some of them are hot], and I couldnt care less about their personalities.

See I like watching box, sometimes, in a pub or so. Guys hitting each other in the nut or guys galloping over a lawn kicking a into ball, yeah; who cares if they are gay, or straight, or racist, or pedophile, it's sports they do and I dont know them in person so I dont give a shit.

Same goes with musicians and actors.

not for me, but if it works for you, go with it.

I base my opinion of celebrities on more than their on screen/onstage/on the field performances.

Why?

You will probably not get close or be friends with any of them. Why would their personal life be of any concern to you?

because it affects who they are as a person. I am not gonna be a fan of an a$$hole or a b!tch.

What if this person is excellent in their work, and is a respected artist whose performances you very much favorize and enjoy? Then you find out some facts about his/her personal life that you do not approve of or do not agree with, will you suddenly stop likeing all his/her movies/songs/paintings?

personal beliefs are just that, and I respect others beliefs, I am talking about if the man/woman is genuinely a good person.

example: Tommy Lee Jones. Great actor, yes? well, he was eating lunch in a cafe one day, and a young girl who was a major fan politely approached him and asked for an autograph. he lost it, yelled at her, made her cry and run away. Behavior like this make me think he is a dick.

another example. Tom Cruise. he has some wacky views, but he is a good person, he took someone who was hurt in some kind of an accident to the hospitalonce, paid for their medical bill out of his own pocket. this makes me like him as a person.

My responses mmm

Example 1: The guys trying to live his life, I might have too if annoying fans keep coming up to me while I'm eating food.

Tom Cruise: Part of Scientology, for me that explains it. He's not a nice guy, he's a nutcase and if you see the stuff he didn't want publicised, you see the real him.

horseshit....Tommy lee Jones is a celebrity, and if a young lady wants an autograph, he should man up and give it to her, NOT be an ass and make her cry.

so what if Tom Cruise is a nutcase? that has no bearing on if he is a nice guy, a good person.
