i never read poetry to any girlfriends, so i doubt my view would change now. i just don't understand half the stuff i read, and can't write it to save myself.

what can i say? i had to read Shakespeare in English..and at first i didn't understand a word..but i learned to understand it..so if a cheeky german guy digs it, then it should be a walk in the park for someone whose native tongue is in fact English..

my native tongue is scots 😛 i like some war poems but shakespear poetry? nope 🙁

Scottish people sometimes joke and say we speak proper scots rather than english because of our accent and slang, but i was just kidding with you.

i know..i've dealt with lot of scots when i was in the army...and heard Dominic Monaghan in LotR 😛

i sometimes don't even understand other Scots, like Glaswegians. a few times i've spoke to them and thought "i have no idea what he just said"

nah not at all 🙂 when i stayed at my old house i used to always go to the supermarket for cat food, and i remember this Glaswegian asked me something on the way, to me it sounded like he was asking where he could hire a pram 😕
